The Electric Bar — Restaurant in Lincoln

We went Saturday 27th April, for a cocktail master class, 13 of us..It was for a 60th birthday.. Food was good , Ben and Molly was good..But the master class wasn't what they said it would be.. They asked us to pick our cocktail ,for making, but they didn't do that, which was very disappointing for a lot of people, some people don't like a lot of cream in cocktail, so they pick other cocktail.. I did speak to joss about this before the night, and he said they could work around it.But he didn't, I did say something to him on the night about this, and never made anything of it. We were told we be upstairs and when we got there we down stairs.. I feel if cannot do what we asked and what you offered you shouldn't do this.. wouldn't do it again, and a lot of the people who was there wouldn't..very disappointed. And...

Good selection of cocktails, but ask for something not on the published menu and the staff don't know what you want. Poor selection of beers, no Guinness on this occasion, with clearly no attempt to rectify the issue, there's a Tesco next door, they could buy from there ( and suitably mark up the price!) to keep the customers happy, obviously in the Hilton world, customer satisfaction isn't everything! Not overly impressed by this "world leading brand" Another negative point. The music playing over the PA system was much too loud. It's supposed to be a cocktail bar, where people can carry out civilised conversation, not shout and struggle to hear responses!! 😠😠. Bar staff struggling to hear orders from customers and on more than one occasion prepared the wrong drink which was wasted before the...

Always like going in here/ up here for a few cocktails when out in Lincoln. A nice, relaxed, semi-sophisticated cocktail lounge on the 5th floor of the Hilton overlooking the Brayford Pool. Small but adequate with nice seating areas, low lights and outside balcony which is usually busy on summer nights. Cocktails range from £6 up to £12. Good selection of spirits, a few lagers and a range of wines. Small bar, so when busy you may need to wait a while. Staff are always friendly and attentive. There are other cocktail lounges in Lincoln, although non of them have a view quite like this one to watch the sun set and the water and clouds light up. Had a fair few good memories...
