77 Restaurant — Restaurant in Liverpool

Unfortunately, this was a disappointing first & probably last time here last night. Firstly, we ordered and waited well up to 45 mins before anyone had even realised we hadn't been served our food, we had seen a few people who had arrived after us be served and leave!! Confused & 2 very frustrated unsettled babies later we asked what is going on, to be apologised to and that our order was coming, I looked over and saw that our order had been put on the other side where orders had been completed!!! I am understanding to accidents but surely in nearly an hour and hearing my baby moaning and our table being empty at least 1 staff member would come & ask have you had your food yet or at least ask other staff members ( why is their table still empty ) Having said that, we then got our food & i was really disappointed, especially after such a wait ! The lamb was really bland the portion of meat I personally wasn't happy with nor was my husband, the fries were really skinny & again just flavourless & the vegetable rice they called biryani was diabolical, We got chicken fatayer, again bland it was just a like a folded pizza but with barely any chicken. My only positives were the waitress was nice, the place was clean & the garlic sauce was lovely also we had dessert which was nice to but nothing special based off our first time here and the overall evening I'm not to sure I would want to go back.

I tried Today’s Restaurant and Take Out last week while visiting a friend and the shawarma was so good that I came all the way back again just to have it. The taste is amazing with proper authentic flavour.

They do all kinds of kebabs and everything is 100 percent halal which is important for me as a Muslim. The place is very clean and the customer service is excellent. The owner is a great guy who really looks after his customers.

They even gave me a bowl of lentil soup while I was waiting and it was absolutely amazing. I am a chef so I know good flavour and this soup was perfect.
