Appebite Bistro — Restaurant in Liverpool

We just ordered few meals thru uber eats, was really expecting a sumptuous dinner but Appebite Cafe failed to deliver that. The chicken roast dinner was dry, chicken meat was dry, potatoe was rock hard, the stuffing was like eating a gravel, yorkshire pudding was soggy and there wasnt even enough gravy to make it that sogy. The pad thai tastes horrible, as if it was cooked yesterday, rice noodles was hard, it didnt really taste like pad thai. The fish wasnt fresh for their fish n chips. Overall, we did not enjoy our meal. Its just frustrating, i hope the resto will read on this and will do...

So disappointed, since this place has changed hands, the prices have gone up by about 12% which is unjustifiable as, the quality of the food and the size of the portions has noticeabley gone down! The breakfast used to be excellent value, but now......well, the sausages have gone from being amazing to being “chippy sausages” the slice of black pudding is almost transparent, you can pretty much count the beans you get on one hand and now you only get one slice of “doughy” toast! Come on Appebite, sort yourself out, I’ll be going to Sainsbury’s and cooking my own breakfast...

Lovely food, very generous proportions, all food boxed up carefully with a separate tub of gravy. We ordered 11 beef and chicken roast dinners to take away, all were perfectly packaged and piping hot. We didn’t eat them until 45 minutes later but they kept really well, warmed in the oven.
