Hi going to be totally honest with this report as I am with all my feedbacks on here, we visited the Liverpool one restaurant, upon arrival there was no one to great us and as we had never been to a nandos before thought nothing of it and as the restaurant was very quiet chose a place to sit that would accommodate my disabilities (which are not evident on looking at me), we had settled in and had read through the menu and chose what we would like, that's how long we where in our seats, when a staff member came over and asked us if we had sat ourselves or had a member of staff sat us, we explained that we were new to the restaurant and there where no staff upon arrival so we chose a seating area where I would be comfortable, he asked us to move as they were not using that area even though a table next to the window was still occupied. We where moved to the other side of the partition and we were literally sitting at the table next to us but on really inappropriate seating, my husband explained that I would be unable to sit on the seating provided which we had only moments ago explained to the member of staff, we were then once again moved into a big horse shoe seating area which was to big to make our meal intimate, but the seating was comfortable. We placed our order with a member of staff who was extremely helpful and patient so felt like the night was going to get better. Once seated again waiting for our food I was looking around, the large black hanging lamp above our table was dirty and you could see the smears where cleaning had been attempted and 2 of the 3 bulbs had blown. Our starter comes out just garlic bread but it was lovely, then our mains arrived, yes they were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing but portion size for the money left a lot to be desired. To walk away full from here you would really have to eat a lot of food resulting in a larger bill. It was nice to see that they accommodate allergies with quite a large book filled with the information and offered one ice cream for lactose intolerance but only in chocolate flavour. Overall we have a great time regardless of how much I have put into this review. The staff especially the gentleman who served us made us very welcome and asked how our night was when we were leaving, even comparing other chicken outlets to nandos chicken which we do agree with the chicken is succulent and very tasty. Can't give 5* due to the fact that the lamp above out table was not cleaned correctly and...

at arrival I asked a member of staff if I could be seated in a quieter area of the restaurant. due to my friend having a disability we had to be seated somewhere suitable.
this particular section was closed off for the evening. the manager allowed us to be seated in this area.
I found the staff to be friendly and welcoming.
I ordered the chicken wrap ( double ) with peri tamer and a slice of cheese. I opted for one side and decided on spicy rice.
while waiting for the meal to arrive I noticed the table beside me hadn’t been cleared. given the circumstances of the sitting area being closed. I understood this.
I went to the toilet and noticed toilet paper on the floor in both cubicles. see attached pictures.
I noticed multiple tables that had not been cleared. these tables were outside of the closed area. this was at 840PM the restaurant is open until 10PM.
When I spoke with the manager he blamed the fact members of the public are able to access the toilets with the location being L1 he is unable to stop members of the public from using the toilets. and in regards to the uncleared tables his response was the tables will be cleared when the restaurant is closed in just over an hours time.
the state of Nando’s Liverpool One during this visit was surprising as I have visited many times previously and have never experienced it like this.
Disappointing on...
Read moreAs far as Nandos go, this one is pretty good. It's always very busy and there's a good atmosphere. Staff are friendly and there are no complaints with service. There is a warm greeting with heating blasting out in the doorway. The air con is set much cooler inside, probably to ensure you don't overstay your welcome. All the food we received was well cooked and tasty. My only real issue is with the menu. I normally order a double chicken breast burger, but for some strange reason, it was listed as out of stock, despite them clearly having plenty of chicken breast and buns. Very strange. However, it made me choose the double chicken breast pitta instead, which was actually better. I do have an issue with the size of the so-called double chicken breasts, which, when put together, were smaller than the one chicken breast my wife ordered. The choice of soft drinks has also been limited. Fine, if you want carbonated rubbish, but I don't, so there's a choice of tap water, iced teas, or some plant based nonsense called Gingerella. Plant based? I think they mean suitable for vegetarians. I don't appreciate this marketing nonsense. Some of the prices are ridiculous, too. £3.50 for garlic bread. A small bun toasted and smothered in garlic butter. Probably costs 10p to produce. My negative comments are aimed at Nandos in general, not the branch. The branch itself is worth a visit if you...
