Of all the lonely people! I guarantee you as soon as you see the amazing statue of Eleanor Rigby the tune will come into your head. Have a selfie with her. Sit down next to her and soak up the atmosphere and take it all in. Great photo opportunity and also a selfie and if you want to belt out the song, I'm sure no one would mind. Another part of Liverpools amazing history that can't be missed. The culture of song, dance and music and this is just the beginning before you head towards Matthew St.

Yet another iconic statue inspired by the Fab Four, great place to sit and is usually quiet. Can't escape an air of melancholy when sitting next to the seemingly forlorn Eleanor Rigby... It works great as a piece of stand-alone art but as it represents an iconic figure from the Beatles classic, well, this makes it all the more unique.

Eleanor Rigby is not only a musical masterpiece but yet a call of the modern woman, stressed and pressed, not longed for this world and yet with courage and potential maybe it could all simply disappear, this statue represents them and quite frankly, it represents a lot more.

Definitely worth a visit as part of the alternative area of Liverpool. A fine selection of ales which should go down well with bikers metal-heads and the like. Lots of quirky paraphernalia adorning the walls, with some equally contrarian type clientele. The jukebox will likely broaden your musical horizons with an impressive selection of riff-rich rock and metal. Only downs are the sound system is a bit lacking in hi-fidelity, and the beers a bit more expensive than some of the other venues in...
