Ohannes Burger Smithdown Road — Restaurant in Liverpool

I recently visited Ohanno’s Burger, a halal burger joint that has been generating a lot of buzz. Walking in, I was a bit hesitant about what to order, given their diverse menu. They offer three options for chicken: peri peri grilled, spicy, and buttermilk fried, alongside several meat-based burgers and one vegetarian option. Each one sounded tempting, but I found it hard to make a decision.

After much deliberation, I decided to go with the steak burger. And I'm so glad I did—this burger turned out to be my absolute favorite. The steak was cooked to perfection, juicy and flavorful, with a great balance of toppings that didn’t overpower the meat. While the chicken options seemed enticing, especially the buttermilk fried one, I was more than satisfied with my choice.

If you're a meat lover like me, the steak burger is definitely worth trying. I’ll definitely be back to explore more...

Visited this place today with our kids. Amazing atmosphere, friendly people working here, our children got a lot of attention and complimentary drinks which was really heartwarming ❤️

The place itself is spotless, perfectly clean kitchen, tidy dining area, even the toilet is shiny and very well cleaned (that’s really important when you going to restaurant with kids).

Burgers are delicious, juicy, meaty, sauces are also great. Crispy chips with some kind of craft spices were delightful. Probably one of the tastiest burgers in the Liverpool, btw prices are also good 👍🏻 £8.90 for kids burger, £9-13 for adults burgers with side fries. P.s. burgers made of finest meat, so definitely worth the price.

Highly recommend this place for anyone who wants cozy atmosphere and decent food along with good prices and lovely people...

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ My wife and I visited Ohannes Burger on Smithdown Road a couple of weeks ago, and we’ve been meaning to leave a review ever since — it would honestly be a shame not to. The burgers were absolutely incredible: full of flavour, juicy, and clearly made with care and quality ingredients.

What made the experience even more special was the lovely couple who run and cook at the place. You can really feel the passion they put into their food and service. They made us feel so welcome, and as a surprise bonus, we were treated to a complimentary dessert — such a kind and thoughtful gesture.
