The images don’t do the justice of how the food actually tasted😷. I payed £16.30 for fish, chips & a jarg chop suey roll that took 50 minutes to arrive when I am not too far away by car. First of all the inside of the batter on the fish was all soggy was like an oven fish, the chips were like cardboard and the chop suey roll I wouldn’t even say was one, it never even had beansprouts in, it was full of some horrible white things and veg. The nicest thing of the order was the blimmin mushy peas. I called up and nicely expressed how I felt about the food and was told I can’t be refunded as I never called back straight away, first of all like I explained to him, I kept trying to get through it because I was hungry and weren’t paying 16 quid for nothing, until it started to make me feel ill and I could not stomach anymore. I have near enough the full order here still to prove it did not get ate. Second of all the manager said to me why did you not complain last night and like I’ve just said I was trying to get through it for a while. He told me they shut at 12:30am which I was unaware of because it’s a chippy.. that’s late for a chippy. But truly speaking anyway I never received my food until 11:15pm I was probably trying to still stomach some of it at 12:30. I have near enough all of it here still. Absolutely shocking the manager couldn’t of been abit bothered either I could of even done with being refunded £10 back. Even though it weren’t even worth £6.30 either but £10 refunded would’ve been better than nothing then I wouldn’t of had to of done this post either, and I’ll be getting onto the food hygiene inspectors too....

Came in and bought two fish and chips, garlic bread with cheese and a sauce £26

When I was waiting noticed a sign for a deal that included exactly the same combo but with another sauce and two drinks for a pound less at £25

I wasn’t bothered about the pound but asked if I could just get that offer, and I assumed that the server had agreed.

Came to get the food and the person serving me told me to get that deal next time as it was better value… instead of giving me it despite the fact I’d paid more?!? I didn’t even bother arguing I just left.

Also, food wasn’t the best. It’s been like this the last few times so I’ll probably leave...

Disappointing. I called in and ordered fish, chips and peas, surely their headline dish. I asked for them to be wrapped separately, but this was ignored, meaning the fish batter was steamed, soggy and inedible, having been packed with the chips. The fish was broken into multiple pieces, and I hadn't been asked if that was acceptable. Generally it had the air of having been cooked some time ago and sat on a hotplate. The chips were full of green bits and black spots from very poor quality potatoes, and were also old and soggy. The lady who served me was however polite and charming, and the place seemed...
