PINS Social Club Liverpool — Restaurant in Liverpool

Been following on Insta for awhile, so was really  excited to go, but left disappointed and out of pocket.

Arrived to look at the market, and have a much needed date day, so decided to stay for lunch, music was so loud, we were having to nearly shout to be heard, I've no probs with loud music but the level it was at was night time level when packed and noisy, not afternoon level with kids & shoppers!

Host was good and recommended the roof garden, so up we go, she did apologise and say it was because they had a DJ on, ok fair enough!

Order drinks and food, was a little shocked that at the price of the burgers, it didn't include fries, but hey ho.

Burgers arrived and were the blandest burger I have ever eaten!! No flavour to it at all, even the burger sauce was tasteless and at £8 I was expecting something that at least had flavour to it and worth the money! The only thing that had flavour were the fries, so no wonder they charge extra!!

On top of that a pint of lemonade & a soda and lime came in at around £6!!  I don't think I've been to many bars that charge that much for soft drinks, especially a soda & lime!!

Decided to book ping pong, nearly fell off my chair £12 for an hour!! OK, it's date day we still booked, our choice to be fair, we love table tennis.

Went to play to be handed a dented ball, and 2 bats that had seen better days!! One was literally falling apart and unusable, so had to ask for a replacement,wasn't anything special so not actually sure what we were paying the £12 for!

On the positive staff were all friendly & helpful, it had a great atmosphere but all in all an expensive date day, with bland food, extortionate hire fees, and feeling completely disappointed. I It's a great place but over priced for what you get, which is a shame really, as I won't be...

Me and my boyfriend went this past saturday as an early birthday treat for him; took his brother and his girlfriend along with us. I initially booked the following week however had to change (couldn't cancel as booking is non-refundable but can change the date).

Booked a Brunch & Bowl and when we turned up, the guy at reception was really friendly and the girl who took us to our table was also really nice too. Pizzas were brought around constantly so we were never left waiting for food and they were decent too! Always had a member of staff come to refill drinks. We were told that when the lane was ready for us, someone would come over to tell us and take us there. We were waiting quite a while for the lane to free up (Booked at 1pm and didn't get to the lane until nearly half 2 when I thought our booking was 90 mins long). Having said that, one game of bowling flies past quickly.

The lanes are clean and there are plenty of sanitary wipes for the bowling balls themselves. The only thing that would potentially make it safer is if the little lane where the balls come up has a barrier on it as if you turn them to find the holes, the balls actually come off really easily and can land on your foot if you're not careful!

You can wear your own shoes (rather than those minging ones bowling allies used to give out) and, despite other reviews on here, the website does actually state a dress code...

Overall, definitely enjoyed ourselves - wouldn't say it's a family venue with children; more of a younger/hipster kind of vibe but still was a lot of fun and...

I asked my daughter to booked a booth in Pins two weeks back for my birthday last Saturday Jan. 29th from 10pm-2am. Everything was confirmed and fully paid, after a meal at San Carlo, I and my whole family and three friends rushed to come here so we could enjoy the rest of the night. We arrived around 11ish and there was no table for us. We ask the manager about our table and said that they’ve reserved one but gave it to someone else. We were waiting for 15-20 minutes for our table then finally a staff came back and gave us one. As soon as I sat down, a guy who was sitting the next table approached me aggressively and said that I can’t sit down there coz it’s their table. It became an aggressive argument with my family and nearly ended up a fight until the bouncers came. We stand there waiting for our table which it shouldn’t happened cos we had a reservation paid. I was very disappointed with the staffs that seems they don’t what they’re doing. I decided to speak to the manager, he apologised and said it’s their fault so I was asking for a refund simply because everything was ruined and we spent a lot of time ( at least half an hour ) waiting and an arguing then the place will close at 2am and still don’t have a table. It was just badly organised and it really ruined my birthday. We asked for a refund and still waiting to get our money back. I hope Danny the owner will sort...
