We entered Pizza Hut and we were greeted by a manager who was very unhelpful and when asked us where we wanted to sit we chose a table out of the selection he had gave us. We chose a table that had not yet been set so he said "you can sit there if you want and I will get you some cutlery." After he had collected the cutlery for our table he stated his opinion which said "I wouldn't sit at a dirty table if I was you." Before he left he threw the menus on the table without explaining any offers and walked away with a smirk on his face.
We had a very helpful waitress called Jasmin who took our order which was, A sharing deal with a half and half chicken supreme and meat feast with garlic bread and cheese and onion bites ; we also ordered a medium thin peporonni pizza and 3 glasses of soft drink. After waiting 20mins for our food we were greeted by a freezing cold peporoni pizza, soggy garlic bread, Luke warm cheese bites, and a totally tiny and incorrect half and half pizza (chicken sizzler, and chicken supreme) which was served cold . We were then greeted by the assistant manager who offered to make us another fresh meat feast pizza, which we thought was very kind considering the attitude of other staff members in the restaurant.
After we had finished our disgusting main meal we had already ordered a salted caramel sharing cookie dough that was very overpriced. After the order had been placed and the plates had been cleared away i seen our cookie dough waiting on the side for a waiter to collect it. After 15mins and 10 unsuspecting waiters went by our order had arrived. It was luke warm considering it was a hot desert, it also was not salted caramel when it arrived. When it arrived we were greeted by a salted caramel and chocolate chip cookie dough which we had not ordered and then rushed to finish it by a new angry waitress. We then unhappily left the restaurant sure to never return again.
May I say we have been to Pizza Hut many times and never ever experienced a meal as disgusting as this one. I will not advise anyone to visit this restaurant ever unless they want to be greeted with unhappy staff, cold food and a large bill...
Read moreI never write reviews, in fact this is my first one. However I feel compelled to write this because of my poor experience tonight at pizza hutt. I work in a restaurant and so am constantly thriving to push reviews earned by excellent service and food. I am aware this is a pizza hutt and not a fine dining Italian restaurant. I haven’t been to pizza hut for many years, but I have always been welcomed by a member of staff in a warm manner, and sat to a table and given table service. Tonight was me and my partners first day off together in about a month and we decided to go out for a last minute meal. We haven’t been out together in the longest time and decided to go out. We chose pizza hutt because I always liked it growing up and it was always great and I thought reasonably priced. Upon arrival a young gent greeted us by saying ‘hi, a two?’ In a non interested manner. I said ‘I’ve booked a table’ to which he replied ‘you didn’t need to’. So I then answered his initial not interested question and said ‘yeah a table for two please’. He asked ‘any preference on a table?’ Suddenly it feels like we’re in a Wetherspoons. I choose some random table on the spot. He sits us, gives us two menus, mine has crayon marks all over it. He says ‘you can order with me if you want. Or you can order on the QR code.’ Didn’t even offer a drink, introduce himself, nothing. The QR code didn’t even work on my partners phone but worked on mine. I scanned the code to be taken to a website not knowing much about the menu and confused by the overpriced alcoholic drinks for the sheer inconsiderate service. £6 for a bottle of San Miguel and a menu with drawings on it? I didn’t see our host after this interaction. After sitting there for a few minutes disappointed on my phone at a dining table and feeling unwelcome, we left and went elsewhere. I understand the fact that perhaps pizza hutt isn’t what it used to be. But I don’t think the brand nor management would approve of this (lack of) service. Why offer guests to book a table if your staff don’t care ? Hope you...
Read moreSubject: Complaint Regarding Discriminatory Treatment – Order No. 5217412 – Pizza Hut Speke, Liverpool (L24 8QB)
Dear Pizza Hut Customer Service,
I am writing to formally complain about the unacceptable treatment I received at your Speke, Liverpool branch (postcode L24 8QB) in relation to my recent order (No. 5217412), which I placed via the Pizza Hut app.
When I arrived at the store to collect my order, my wife was waiting for me in the car, and my parents and 11-year-old daughter were at home expecting dinner. However, the experience I had with one of your staff members was deeply humiliating and upsetting.
The staff member questioned whether I was the rightful owner of the order, judging me based on my appearance. I believe I was discriminated against due to the fact that I am an immigrant – despite being a legal permanent resident in the UK. I provided my name (Bruno) and the correct order number (5217412), yet she refused to believe me. She insisted that I open my personal mobile phone and show the order confirmation in the app, treating me with clear suspicion and disrespect.
Her behaviour was aggressive, and she even raised her voice at me. I felt publicly humiliated. To make matters worse, after all this delay, the pizza was cold by the time I returned to the car.
This experience left me feeling deeply disrespected and unwelcome. I will never return to this branch and will be advising my family and friends to avoid it as well.
I urge you to investigate this incident seriously and ensure your staff are properly trained to treat all customers with respect, regardless of appearance or background. Discrimination has no place in any business, and certainly not in a brand as well-known as Pizza Hut.
I look forward to your response and to knowing what actions will be taken in light of this incident.
Yours...
