Space Coffee Bar And Grill — Restaurant in Liverpool

First time visiting as we were in the area. Not hugely busy. Lovely environment. However what I got was not what I ordered...a cheese, ham and mushroom omelette became a bacon, sausage and mushroom environment with very little flavour. Pleasant enough but definitely not what I ordered but it was what my friend ordered...they seemed to just duplicate it. Didn't get our water until we asked for it and it took some doing to get the attention of a member of staff. Meals took quite a long time to arrive too and the salad garnish was tired and wilted. A nice neighbourhood coffee bar that does food and drinks. It also has a full bar and a menu but I have only been, occasionally, for coffee, cake, breakfast. At this junction in Aigburth there are several nice places and all different. Space has character in the former HSBC / Midland bank building. You cannot see in or tell from outside that it is spacious and airy with big windows on the raised level letting in light. A range of vegetarian and vegan options. I first thought it was expensive but now I would say it is normal price for an upmarket suburb. Space is deffo our to go place for full English. We've been going since they opened and it's just always amazing treat in the morning. Yesterday we tried the dinner menu as well. Everything was amazing! Honestly all the food was great and the steaks were unreal. We love this place even more now we tried the dinner menu and it didn't disappoint us at all. What we enjoyed the most was the superfriendly staff! Especially Anna who is our long time favourite but even the two other blonde girls were really really nice and made our evening very special.
