Los Amigos Steakhouse & Mexican Cuisine — Restaurant in Liverpool

Absolutely disgusting customer service. Ordered a salmon on just eat and they sent seabass and tried saying i didnt click the option of salmon. I phoned them to slove it but they made me out to be a liar saying they couldnt see the opition i selected on their side of the screen. Spent over £60 you would think they would get the order right. Also ordered chicken wings box meal and they sent 3 chicken nuggets and 3 chicken strips with chips. I asked for replacement salmon but they refused. Also when you order fish you can’t move forward with the order unless you choose which fish you want. You have to select which fish before moving forward.

Update** They phoned me back after i put the review which was 20 mins later, telling me sorry for the fault they can replace my fish. BUT it’s late now. You should think this in first place because i had to start to eat what i did not order because i...

I thought I’d reviewed this place previously, as we’ve been many times, but I can’t see it on my list so thought I’d make sure I left one. Honestly can’t rate the place highly enough, it’s a great place and brilliant value. The standard of food is tremendous and the portions are so big that we usually end up taking some home. Staff are lovely and always happy to help. They have a set menu deal which is incredible value, and there is no skimping on the portions you get the exact same as on the full price menu. We only live local so have been a lot and have often taken visitors, all of whom have gone away raving about the place. Definitely worth trying, it says it’s Mexican but if you’re not into Mexican food don’t let that put you off, they do really nice steaks, burgers, chicken, salmon etc so there’s something...

I had a truly disappointing experience at Los Amigos. The service was absolutely terrible. They were clearly understaffed, and there were no check-backs whatsoever. I ordered a burger, which arrived so burnt that it actually snapped in half. I waited for someone to come by so I could mention the issue, but after 20 minutes of no one checking on us, I had to flag someone down myself.

When I finally got someone's attention, they offered a replacement, but I refused since everyone else at my table had already finished their meals.
