This is a pretty decent place. A changing offer of what's on tap, just a bit too pale ale heavy for us. Would be nice to see some more Amber's, reds, darks and stouts on tap. They do have a large selection in thr fridge though. Prices are a little high and seating can be difficult to come by. Nice comfy couch in the back if you are lucky. Selection of books if you want a solo drink and a few games. Bar snacks are good quality crisps and other snacks bits. Read moreLovely laid back neighbourhood local that serves a very nice pint. Serving Over 10 ales and ciders from cask and keg (also selection of bottles and cans) including several local beers. I had two different pale ales, really well kept, they know what they’re doing and take pride in looking after their ale. bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Main room is cosy with plenty of natural lighting. Has a small back room. Music on but doesn’t interfere with the ambience. Recommended for a very nice local pint....
