We recently visited Liverpool for a two night getaway and stayed at the Sefton Park Hotel which is just across the road from the Fulwood Arms. With the weather being a little on and off, we decided a safe bet would be to go here for a few drinks. We had a great time there. Even though we were in on a Sunday, which based on the week board they have in there, nothing happens on a Sunday, we enjoyed it. Reasonably priced drinks and the music was right up our street. The lovely young lady who was in on Sunday 12th November was very friendly and seemed to get on with everyone who I could assume we're locals. We purchased 4x bottles of rekorderlig (there was a deal), but didn't want to take them all with us, so she offered to hold two back for us and we could come and collect them whenever we were ready. Not something we are used to and is something every pub should do. Where I'm from you can get some great deals on Jager Bombs, but you can bet you have to take all of them with you. All in all a great pub and if we are ever back in Liverpool again for a couple of nights, Fulwood Arms will be our first call.
