Great little pub in the centre of Liverpool. It still has the old charm of an unmodernised pub. The beer is also wonderful and very refreshing after or during a visit to the city centre. Liverpool 1 is just a short walk away and well worth a visit. Most other shops are only a short distance away. So nothing is too far away after a well deserved drink The staff are always friendly and there is always a nice friendly atmosphere in the pub. The food is also very tasty. All meals are a decent size and well prepared. Although the pub gets quite full, meals don’t take too long to come. Used to come here as a student in Tthe 70s. Great little pub in the back streets of the city centre, just around the corner from Liverpool one. Sport on the TVs and focus on the local teams on match days. For a city centre pub the prices are well below the expected and the staff are really helpful and efficient, as well as being friendly.
