Group of 26 last night, handed 52 out of 72 drink tokens (glad I checked) paid for 36 places.

Realised once handing the tokens out to the group that I was still 4 short, I may of miscounted because the tokens was stuck together but I didn't see it being an issue considering I was short changed £100 in drinks tokens at first - staff did hand me the additional four tokens.

The two points I wanted to raise was two different issues, the first who was a member of staff who had a bit of a chip on her shoulder without being polite or understanding of drunks around them, she looked like she was having a really bad day getting irritated by members of public being in her way when moving around the club and the second was the female who served me at the bar for two spirits with mixers, who almost charged me for two doubles and when I explained it was singles she very politely told me it was a doubles bar which I could not see anywhere that stated you would automatically be served doubles and I think that's a bit of a snidey money making tactic from the owners.

I have been in contact with Roxys since October and had several different prices since getting quotes for 36-40 people, each time the price getting higher and being given an excuse certain activities wasnt available.

I don't think I'll be spending almost £1,700 with this company ever again however I will add that all of our party did enjoy themselves including myself other than...

My friends and I arrived at the venue at 11:20 pm first night, assuming we had a short time basecon opening hours mentioned on Google, only to be told that the venue was closed 5 minutes ago at 11:15pm. After asking the staff for the last order time We were told it is 11:15pm. We had to cancel our plans for the night and scheduled again for the next evening.

Second night we scheduled to arrive at 11.We arrived at 11:00 and Surprisingly being told by a girl introduced herself as the supervisor, that they are closed and last order is 10:30pm completely different than what we were told in person the night before. Felt like being rejected purposely for some reason!

We left disappointed.I believe that it is important for businesses to be transparent and accurate with their advertised information, especially when it comes to something as crucial as their operating hours.

This roxy ballroom has a nice vibe and it looks lovely inside. Unfortunately I thought the crazy pool was a bit of a letdown. Firstly if you’ve seen the website it looks like the pool tables are going to have loads of cool contraptions to get your ball through but in reality only one of the 8 tables have anything interesting on them, and that brings me onto the next thing which is that there’s only 8 tables and the whole thing is over within 15 / 20 minutes. We visited on a Thursday so it wasn’t massively busy, but it still took at least 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive which meant we were on the last table of crazy pool before we even got our drinks. Finally, most of the tables are at a slope, which means your ball always ends up lodged right in a corner, and since the sides of the table are so high this makes it pretty much impossible to play seriously.
