this needs addressing!!!! certain staff should attend a disability awareness course ! Was here yesterday, had no issues till I was refused a drink i"e you are swaying". Based on opinon not fact BTW !!! I have 2 brain conditions no cure or treatment ( auditary ventricles cranial cerebral atrophy which symptoms are gait unbalance vertigo (sometimes it feels like I'm on a rocking ship etc and hydrocepalus on the 3rd cranial I have also had bi lateral hearing loss since I was 14 which can affect balance . Both of the above conditions I've mentioned were diagnosed when I was 26, 27 yrs ago ( I can bring in the paperwork) also I normally carry bands and alarms. I tried to explain to the barman who had recently come on shift and who didn't want to listen. Had no issues getting served elsewhere whatsoever . BTW it's against the disability discrimination act 2010 if refused service due to disability luckily my daughter is an equalities officer and has always told me the law regarding this. only went out for a vape and served without issue till this person came on their shift.. I'd been there for about 4 hrs I had 3 glasses of wine in that time. Considering the average age group of this establishment I thought they would have...

A lovely soft entrance I'd have to agree on most reviews about this place the Guinness is cold fresh and poured properly and not expensive il give it a 9/10 the girl behind the bar wow smiling greating friendly knows how to carry herself the chap behind the bar good friendly u can tell had a little banter these r the type of place's u want to go to no headbangers and dolls in there good atmosphere different class of clientele the only thing was there was a damp smell but I'm sure it can b fixed Wood I go...

This pub is just on the edge of Woolton village, which can be a very busy place during the day so if you like a bit of peace and quiet this is the place for you. I've been coming here for many years and it's not changed one bit. The interior and exterior still look the same as it did when I was a young lad. But I think that's the way the locals like it so why change a good thing. They usually have a good range of real ales and beers and it's always served...
