🥩FILLET STEAK with peppercorn sauce and chips - AMAZING! Haven’t had a steak for more than 4 months and almost forgot what a pleasure it is to enjoy one. Medium-rare (swipe right to see the cut) - juicy, well seasoned. Pure perfection! . 🦀CRAB SALAD - crab is my new seafood favourite and it was combined very well with the mango & avocado puree 🥭🥑 . HUMMUS & PITA BREAD - freshly made pita with some paprika flavoured hummus. . Selection of ICE-CREAMS and SORBETS 🍦🍨 . Strawberry TARTELETTE with vanilla creme patissiere - cherry on top to the perfect lunch 🍓 . Bottle of Chateau de Candie Viognier - restaurant’s own produce from the French Alps 🍾 . The whole experience was just perfect. From the service to the food and drinks, I was in seventh heaven. Regarding the COVID measures: all the staff were wearing masks, sanitiser at the entrance and near toilets. Most of the tables nicely spread out with outside seating available. . Verdict: I can highly recommend for any occasion - you won’t be disappointed! ☺️

We went for the ‘all you can eat’ breakfast which turned out not to be all you can eat which we found so deceiving. You were only allowed to add three additional sides to your main dish and add an additional lighter breakfast or sweet dish . It was plenty of food but we would have wanted more savoury sides rather than an another dish entirely. Service was a bit miserable apart from one gentleman who was the only one who was warm and engaging but sadly he wasn’t our main waiter. We weren’t welcomed with a smile. Almost felt like an inconvenience to have entered . One of our seats was dirty and sticky. There was no more almond croissants, portobello mushrooms were very salty and the toast were as hard as biscotti. Thankfully the rest of the breakfast was nice and fresh. We asked for scrambled eggs and they delivered it over easy but that was retrified immediately. But if you were to advertise breakfast as “all you can eat”, it should be unlimited food and not limited in any sort of way.

Food took FOREVER to be served. Arrived 12:15 eventually served our main at 13:25… The 50% lunch menu is great but not if other parts of a restaurant experience are lacking. Staff slow and with no sense of urgency. The wait to be offered a drink was far too long - was not a full restaurant at this point. The high top tables constantly knocked by staff working the back wall - really badly laid out space. Food was ok, nothing special. I’ve noticed that other similar reviews have had the response ‘the past 18 months have been challenging In hospitality’ but I’m exhausted by this excuse. If you want people to frequent your establishment at the same, if not inflated prices, and add a service charge then it’s up to you to provide the best experience. Customers can live without spending their hard earned cash at restaurants, but restaurants need customers to survive.

We are so disappointed. We discovered this restaurant by accident in December after we had been to the Theatre. After receiving exceptional service and enjoying our experience we decided to book dinner here. My friend and I don't get together often so we were excited to repeat our previous experience. However our visit yesterday was so bad we walked out. Upon arrival we were barely acknowledged and shown to our table... we were then virtually ignored until a waiter came to the table to ask what we wanted.. I said a menu would be good...without any apologies we had menus thrust at us ... and someone dumped a bottle of tap water on the table.. we then sat there waiting for someone to take our order... it wasn't busy and there was a good number of staff congregating around the central bar area. We made the decision to leave after 32 mins ... 28-50 was the 3rd establishment we had visited yesterday we had experienced top service in each of the previous 2 and we left 28-50 went across the road and had a fabulous meal at The Ivy with the kind of service you expect when spending over £200 ... Given the previous reviews we seem to have been unfortunately. However our experience was...

Had my Christmas meal here as I was in London over the holidays. Made a reservation for the 5 course meal for 89 pounds. Atmosphere, layout and serving staff were exquisite; very attentive and friendly. For the price and quality feel of the restaurant the food was not up to par. I had the traditional Turkey meal and it was a generic turkey meat roundel with stuffing in the centre and the roasted potatoes were the generic “cook from frozen” type. It reminded me of my school dinners I used to have as a kid around Christmas time. The cheese and biscuits was just a single lump of Stilton and 2 dry crackers. Overall I enjoyed my lunch there for the atmosphere and and enjoyed the attentiveness and the quality of the restaurant environment and staff but the food soured it a little. I’ve not eaten here on a regular day / evening so I don’t know if their normal food is all out the freezer, so I would do some research before you go on that one. 10/10 for the team running the bow on the 25th but 6/10 for the Chef or whoever made the decision to get the frozen spuds out the freezer and not...
