“You cannot order this”. I though I misheard the waitress! Wait, what? Keep reading… Throughout Covid I’ve supported ADA, the food is delicious so its cool. Last week a friend of mine came down for the day and I’ve been telling her how amazing it is, so Sunday morning we went to ADA. The venue was not busy which was nice due to Covid, there were two families, a large and a small one so vibe was nice. A waitress brought us the menus but didn’t say hello or anything. I looked at the menu and it was all in Turkish, no problem - I got out my phone and started to Google. Finally we decided, I’d like two Turkish breakfast please, price was £10.90 each, ADA is known for good value. “You cannot order two of these” I though I misheard the waitress. So I said sorry, I don’t I understand. She replied “you cannot order two of these, just order the breakfast for two” which costs £28. I said due to the concerns of the Covid (virus) we did not want to share any food or drinks and would like this please. She replied, no you can’t. You can only order the £28 option. Why would I pay £28 instead of £21.80 when they are the same?! I don’t get it. The waitress didn’t even bother to explain what was on the menu when she had brought them to us and more so why we couldn’t order what we wanted?! She said this is what the Boss says, it’s not up to me. Literally talking to us like we were tourists. As a Food Blogger - I have never ever been told what I could and could not order. I felt so embarrassed that I had invited my friend here. We both looked at each, and we really didn’t appreciate the tone or attitude of the waitress so we said, no thank you and made our way out. We went to another spot for breakfast, anyway after that my friend and I parted ways and few hours later she called me and said that she called the restaurant. She asked to speak to the manager as she didn’t appreciate how we were spoken to by the waitress. Manager said, why didn’t you come and speak to me? She replied, we didn’t see anyone with a name tag or sign that said they are the manager\ management. He further went on to mention that the waitress had said that “you asked for an English breakfast”. Really bro?! We are going to a Turkish restaurant to ask for English food?! My friend responded that this was not true! I was bewildered, it’s such a shame that it happened to us. Should this happen to you, be sure to speak to the manager, he seems nice. For that reason, I will no longer be ordering or dining with ADA Restaurant Enfield. #foodreview #ada #adaenfield #halalfoodie #turkishfood #instagramblogger #tastetest #enfieldfoodie #halalfood #enfield

Ada restaurant is a culinary haven that promises an unforgettable dining experience. My recent visit was elevated to excellence, thanks to the impeccable service provided by Okan, our fantastic waiter. From the moment we stepped into Ada, we were greeted with a warm ambience that beautifully complemented the rich flavours of Turkish cuisine. The menu was a delightful journey through traditional Turkish dishes, and Okan's expertise made our choices even more enjoyable. Okan, the maestro of recommendations, guided us through the menu with a passion for the cuisine that was infectious. His suggestions were spot-on, showcasing a deep understanding of the flavours and textures that make Turkish food so special. The food was a symphony of tastes, from succulent ribs to flavorful mezes. Each dish was a testament to the restaurant's commitment to authenticity and quality. The combination of aromatic spices and fresh ingredients transported us to the vibrant streets of Istanbul. Okan's attentive and friendly service added a personal touch to our dining experience. His knowledge of the menu and willingness to cater to our preferences enhanced the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you're craving an authentic Turkish culinary adventure, here is the place to be. And if you're lucky enough to have Orkan as your waiter, prepare for a dining experience that goes beyond expectations. They truly create a dining symphony that delights the senses.

Second Visit Busier on this occasion, which again was a late lunch. Nice atmosphere. We had fish which was cooked nicely and was very tasty. We had sea bream and sea bass. Huge portions. First Visit Nice lunchtime visit. We had a couple of starters which we shared. The lahmacun was good but would have preferred it a little spicier. The portions are large and bread salad and dips are complimentary. The service was friendly. Given it was a Monday it wasn't busy, so lacked a bit of atmosphere, but we rather liked that as we weren't rushed and spent a good couple of hours there. Their reservation system is not very efficient as I originally tried booking a couple of days earlier but did not receive a confirmation until the time we were already sat in the restaurant.

Visited Sat 28th Jan at 6.30pm. Order taken promptly but sat for an hour waiting for them. Asked the waiter what was happening and he said there was a problem with the kitchen. Sat for another 20 minutes then asked a waitress what was happening. She came back a minute later and took our whole order again. Another 20 minutes pass and our starters arrive. By this time our 10 year old who is used to going to restaurants is agitated and hungry. Mains then arrive and we gave no clean cutlery. Ask for some and 5 minutes the waiter that originally took our order throws them on the table. Lamb and Chicken shish and the Kofte are exceptionally hot, greasy and tasteless. My guess us that the meat was pre cooked and kept hot or microwaved from cold. Asked for the bill and 20 minutes later had to walk to the till with our coats on and offer to pay. First visit for a while and will never be going back again. Badly run restaurant with exceptionally poor service and greasy pre cooked food....
