Al Beik Restaurant — Restaurant in London

Good to see a lot of positive reviews about the restaurant as the food was nice. However, my experience was not great.

I visited earlier today and was not greeted as I came into the restaurant, and was not approached by any staff on whether I wanted to sit in or takeaway. After about 5 minutes of just waiting, with staff next to me I should add, I had to ask whether I could order for takeaway. The staff seemed confused, with one saying they would take my order at the table even though I asked specifically for takeaway.

When I finally got to order, I had to place it with the chef as the servers were all preoccupied. To top it off, I was charged an extra penny for my meal. On face value a penny is not that big a deal, and because it was the chef taking payment I didn’t bother mentioning it in the moment. But after waiting for someone to take my order when the restaurant wasn’t busy, and the general awkward feeling I had as I didn’t feel particularly welcome, made the experience a bad one for me.

Maybe I just went at a bad time or day, but as someone who worked in hospitality for a long time, the customer should always feel welcome whenever they come into your business. Especially if it’s their first time.

The food itself was nice, and the chef who prepared it was friendly but I had high hopes after seeing reviews and watching videos on social media that were very positive. Unfortunately, my experience was not what I was expecting so I likely won’t...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Al Beik, and I have to say, the food we ordered was absolutely delicious! As someone who's tried their fair share of roast chickens, I can confidently say that this was one of the juiciest and most flavorful I've had. The spices were perfectly balanced and the meat was cooked to perfection.

My only concern was that the portion size was almost too big for the very fair price. I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm not one to turn down extra food, but I definitely left feeling quite full.

All in all, I highly recommend Al Beik to anyone in the mood for some delicious Middle Eastern cuisine. The food was amazing, the service was great, and the prices were more than reasonable. I'll definitely be coming...

Alhamdulillah, one of the best HALAL restaurants in Acton, Al-Beik Restaurant! The broasted chicken here is amazingly crispy, juicy, and full of flavour. It reminded me of the fried chicken I used to enjoy in Madinah. The portion was big and definitely worth the price.

Be prepared to wait a little, as the chef cooks everything à la minute, so the chicken is always fresh and served hot. It's well worth the wait!
