We visited KFC Acton (The Oak area) yesterday afternoon and was met by these 2 rude female staff. This was around 4-5pm. We ordered through the kiosk but it did not print a receipt but the order went through the counter and so they were able to process the order. I’ve ordered. Mini Kid’s meal, 4x milk chocolate cookies, 6pcs kfc chicken, 3chicken wings and a gravy. The lady in the counter said there are only 2 milk chocolate cookies. I have informed her that my kids only like the milk chocolate one. She asked me if she can give me the chocolate cookies. I said unfortunately no, as my kids will not eat them. She called another member of staff. This rude lady just said we will give you 2 chocolate milk cookies and a fries. I was shocked as she didn’t even asked me if I would like a fries as a replacement. I told her, if I wanted fries, I will buy fries. I said we would like 4 milk chocolate cookies and that’s what we paid for. She said initially, it will take 20min, and I agreed. She then said why don’t i give you baked beans, I said no thank you, and offered something else again and I and my kids said no please. I told her, we would like what we have ordered if you don’t mind as she keeps forcing us to take what my kids dont eat. it will just be a waste if I force my kids to take what they do not want. And she said, then I will just give you a refund. I said okay, then she asked me for a receipt. And I said to her that the kiosk did not print one. She said, then I cannot refund you. And I told her that’s fine, just give me our milk chocolate cookies if you cannot give my money back, and then she started getting angry and started shouting. By this point, I have lost all my patience with the staff and told them, either you give me my money back or the milk chocolate cookies, and she started shouting and calling another member of staff saying this and that. I am so appalled by her attitude. This is no way to treat a customer. She is very unprofessional and rude. If KFC will not do anything about this attitude, I will make sure not go to KFC again and I have informed my whole family not to go to this KFC again and will tell all my friends about this. My mother said she had a bad experienced with a female staff too. It seems like these 2 women are popular with rudeness. Such a shame as their colleague was able to resolved the issue calmly. Service: The staff are incredibly slow at everything and quite rude; it’s like customers are an inconvenience. It was close to empty when I visited, with more staff than customers and it still took too long be served. After taking my order and letting a few more minutes pass by the server informed me that it would take 10 minutes to prepare my burger, fries and drink… it felt longer.
Fries: The first portion of fries given to me was soggy and luke warm. They were swapped for some that were slightly warmer but somehow worse, they were soggy and undercooked. I’m guessing they weren’t the officially supplied potatoes anyway as they were skin on, misshapen and slightly green.
Burger: Despite having to wait for it to be cooked from scratch, the texture of the chicken was awful and it was not cooked thoroughly. Not only unpleasant but also unsafe.
Packaging: Food was served in unbranded bags; this seems like more corner cutting.
Toilets: I didn’t go in but they are seemingly filthy. I overheard someone saying to their other half after exiting the toilets “It was so disgusting, if I washed my hands in there they would be dirtier than before”
Bins: Overflowing. It seems strange that in an empty KFC the bins were stacked over the brim but of course the staff have no interest in keeping the place clean.
I initially thought, maybe they’re just having an off day but looking at other reviews it seems that this place is consistently bad.
Both the food standards agency and KFC corporate will be receiving a similar report about this location. I’m not sure why someone would invest more than £1M to open a franchise just to run it into the ground.

The restaurant itself was immaculately clean. From the floors to the tables and even the washrooms, everything was spotless, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. Cleanliness clearly matters to this team, and it shows.
As always, the food was fresh, hot, and consistently delicious. Whether it’s the crispy chicken, perfectly seasoned fries, or the buttery biscuits, KFC never disappoints. I appreciate how the quality never wavers no matter when I visit.
