Read moreThis place is a real treat! Authentic Egyptian food that tastes exactly like it’s homemade. We tried breakfast & lunch & take-away (hence the boxes in some photos). The menu in the photos is just for the soft opening. I was told they will add more dishes towards end of June 2024.
They offer whole day brunch: try their shakshouka, Egyptian falafel (which is very different from the one made with chickpeas), their fava beans & their feteer. Absolutely delicious!
Lunch was great! Molokheya is so yummy (you can’t easily find it anywhere else) & I loved the stuffed veggies. I’m excited to try the rest of the menu.
The atmosphere is laid back & very friendly. Egyptian music in the background & service with a smile. I always like it when the owner is around as it ensures quality control & a high level of service. Even the cook was taking feedback. A very promising soft opening indeed.
The place is kids- & dog- friendly & serves a lot of vegetarian dishes. Step-free access & indoor & outdoor seating available.

Read moreThis wasn’t my first visit — I’d been here before and had a great time, but honestly, this visit was even better! We came on the first day of Eid, and from the moment we stepped in, everything felt warm and special. The atmosphere, the kindness of the staff, and the welcoming vibe made us feel like we were celebrating Eid with family. We enjoyed a full Egyptian feast: Grilled Chicken, Kebda Eskandarani, Meat-Stuffed Rokak, Shorbet Kawarea, and Creamy Kunafa — every dish was flawless. It really felt like everything was cooked with love, just like a caring Egyptian mother would make it. The Grilled Chicken and Rokak were still irresistible, and this time we were pleasantly surprised by how flavorful and comforting the Shorbet Kawarea and Kebda Eskandarani were — pure soul food. The place remains as beautiful, clean, and inviting as ever. Huge thanks to the chefs and the amazing team for making this such a memorable experience. Can’t wait to come...
