Upon entering, we were seated via gestures from afar. The waitress was standing at the far end asking well.... symbolising how many of us we were. We were then given a seat for 3 and within minutes of just having sat down we were asked if we were ready to order. My 2 friends didn't hear her and she uttered the same again in a different tone (annoyed). I just replied 'no we are not yet ready'. What was the rush lady? There were only 2 other customers inside. There was another waiter that was nice (not really communicative either tbh) and he took our order.
Now the food: The softshell crab and chicken karaage were nice but the main course BOTH (normal and chilli) ramen was SOOOOOO SALTY. I ended up asking for hot water to put in our soup bowl to mix up and dilute the salt watered soup. I even told the waiter why we needed the water and in normal settings, the food should be replaced and acknowledged but he proceeded to give the hot water (fair enough) and the ramen was better but still not that great.
I do not recommend this place if I'm kindly being honest. The service wasn't great and the ramen wasn't the best.
The toilets were clean but when asking directions, the guy just replied downstairs????? Ummmmm WHERE DOWNSTAIRS???? I couldn't see any stairs until I used my initiative to open a door that looked like a staff door then finally saw the stairs where toilets were to the left....so communication isn't great at all as aforementioned.
Maybe because we were Filipinos? Some Filipinos tend to have a stand offish attitude towards their fellow countrymen (dunno why) but they should take into consideration that it's normally their own countrymen that will spread the word and bring their friends to which will lead to their business' success.
Tip: Apparently they're an 'eat all you can' on a Sunday but goodness knows how the service will be...especially from the woman. Judging from other reviews, she's the one that seems to be bringing the restaurant's star rating down so maybe call up and check to see if she's on a day off before going 😂
2 star overall only due to...

The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure our plates were never empty and our smiles were always wide. The sushi? Oh, the sushi! Each piece was a little work of art, bursting with fresh flavors and perfectly balanced textures.
The variety was impressive, with everything from classic nigiri and sashimi to creative rolls [recommend the chef's role] that had us coming back for more. And the best part? The quality was top-notch, yet the price was surprisingly reasonable. It's rare to find such a perfect blend of quality and value, but Kuyamoto nailed it.
