We were staying up the road at the Premier Inn before heading to a wedding the next day. On doing a little Google search of restaurants in the area I found this wonderful little place. We purely went there off the back of the photos of the pizzas….they look amazing. On arrival the hostess was so friendly, warm and welcoming. The few customers that were in there already were obviously locals / regulars and she had the most wondrous rapport with them, especially the kids. When ordering we were given water for the table and I ordered a fantastic IPA. My wife had a chicken salad and I had a pizza with Italian sausage. On arrival the food did not disappoint. My wife loved her salad, the chicken was beautiful, and my pizza….well, definitely in the top 5 of best pizzas I’ve ever had….and trust me, I’m a big pizza fan so this is no mean feat. Incredible. I wanted to post a photo to accompany this review, but by the time I remembered to take it the pizza was long gone!
So to surmise, a wonderful little independent Italian, wonderful staff, great beer, and even better food. So if you’re in the area, and need a nice little chilled place, with cool relaxed vibes and honest high quality tasty Italian food, look no further. GO HERE!! Thank you Alla Salute for a...
Read moreThe Risotto of the Day was a total surprise! Its seasoning was absolutely fantastic—not the usual salty and savory, but rich with the unique layered flavors characteristic of Italian cuisine. Every bite felt like it was wrapped in the sunshine of Tuscany, and after eating, there was a trance-like feeling of "being instantly transported to Italy"—this kind of taste impact is no exaggeration to say it "stole my attention".
The orange juice that came with it was also memorable. It wasn’t the cloyingly sweet type; instead, it had a natural slight bitterness. Sipping it felt healthy and refreshing, perfectly cutting through the richness of the Risotto.
What stood out the most was the waitstaff’s attitude, which was impeccable throughout: the warm greeting at the door was very welcoming, and shortly after we sat down, they proactively brought over tap water. Thoughtfulness was evident in every little detail. This meal excelled from taste to experience, and it’s truly...

This is Puglia cuisine at its best outside of Italy. Warm, friendly, informative & sociable hostess. Now, I've been several times but this review is about my 1st visit.
The chef even came out to greet us & discuss the area she's from as well as the amazing dishes she prepared for us. This is the what I have come to expect in Italy & so happy to see this authenticity now close to my home.
We tried the lunch specials of Ceci Neri & Gamberoni (tiger prawns & black chickpeas), Orecchiette Cime di Rapa (Orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe), Troccoli della Chef (Chef's signature dish of monkfish & troccoli pasta)
The restaurant is not huge & you can make reservations. I like it. I like it even more because they have takeaway ordering.
I am over the moon about this place!!
Every single dish A++ The service...
