London Naru Korean Deli — Local services in London

Terrible experience at Greenwich Naru Korean restaurant. (Lovibond lane). I collected food and unfortunately the server only gave us 2 of the 3 main courses that we ordered. When we rang to discuss, we were greeted with .. “oh I know do you want to come back for it”... no apology, no “sorry”. We asked could it be delivered, the answer was no we don’t deliver!! Not sure why deliveroo have them on website if they don’t deliver. We asked to speak to a manger and were told he was cooking and was unavailable. So we said we would leave it at that and write a review. A few minutes later the restaurant (same person) called back and attempted to explain that she asked the person who collected the order three times what they had ordered and they were unsure. This was the reason proposed as why they got the telephone order wrong. Even if this was true, why would this be a valid excuse? For the record, the person collecting was asked once what the order was and he did not know but was assured by the restaurant that this was the only collection so the order was obvious. My biggest issue with my experience was the attitude of the staff member... attempting to blame everybody but herself. Mistakes happen so just apologize and move on. Food was actually quite good... but if staff have this attitude to customers, why...

We literally just can't recommend it enough - everything was fresh, made from scratch, and above and beyond delicious. The place is admittedly a little small but has a lovely atmosphere and the owners were incredibly friendly and welcoming - we even got a free snack, which was just a lovely gesture. They only have one table outside at the moment (due to Covid), however, the owner said that they are going to be adding extra seats as soon as government guidelines allow.

Their salmon and avocado roll is incredible and so is their bibimbap. Although everything we had was amazing, to be honest, it's the best authentic Korean we had in a while. If I had one piece of constructive feedback, that would be to maybe include diet drinks and just more drinks in general on their menu. We would have liked to buy a drink with our meal but unfortunately they only had normal coke and Fanta.

Apart from that, however, everything was 10/10 and we literally can't wait to...

My husband and I discovered this lovely little hidden gem on Saturday whilst we were venturing into Greenwich for lunch, and we're so glad we did.

The store is small but it was bright and clean, there are a few limited seats available on the side but we did see a lot of people ordering takeaway or coming in to collect their orders.

We ordered a few small dishes to start with (highly recommend the seafood pancake) and for our mains we ordered the tofu bibimbap and the beef bulgogi which was absolutely delicious. Everything was made fresh behind the counter and served in a timely manner. We had a quick chat with the owner and we could really tell that he took pride in the dishes he offered and he was very down to earth and hospitable during our visit.
