Vintners Lanes — Local services in London

You’ve got a lot of potential to be a great business the location is excellent, the interior is well-designed, and the games are genuinely fun. But unfortunately, the food experience really let the evening down. We booked two rounds of bowling, and by the time we finished the first round, our food still hadn’t arrived. In total, we waited over an hour for it. We ended up slowing down our second round so we can wait for the food. When we asked what was causing the delay, we were told there was only one chef working and that the team was trying to send all the food out at the same time. We spent over £100 on food, only for it to arrive cold and burnt. The onion rings were visibly burnt, and everything else the mini mac and cheese bites, wings, pizza, fries came out cold. It was very clear that these were frozen items that had just been popped in the oven, which was disappointing considering the price point and the vibe the venue gives off. Definitely wasn't expecting Iceland food quality. The bowling experience itself was enjoyable and I don’t have any complaints there. But it’s frustrating to see that someone left a review about these same issues four months ago, and the response mentioned that changes were being made yet we experienced the same problems.

I really hope you invest in your kitchen experience because everything else is there. The atmosphere, the location, the concept it all has so much promise. But the food quality needs urgent attention if you want to give customers a full experience worth...

I booked Vintners Lanes (Exclusive hire) for my birthday (yesterday) and it was amazinggggg! Had a blast with my friends.

The team were amazing, especially Lucy, she answered every single question i had in detail and i had loadssss leading up to the day and even before i paid. The price was good for everything that was included & didn’t seem overbearing at all.

Food was given out when people arrived as part of the exclusive hire package & my friends were all given a token for a welcome drink and then were able to purchase more drinks/food as the night went on.

Venues that don’t force a min spend on you/ don’t have a crazy min spend are the BEST ones and will never go out of business!!

I’m very grateful to the vintners team, all the planning & prep that went into it really made my day. The security guards, bar staff and waiters were lovely and the service was 10/10 no exaggeration, it went without a hitch and i have zero complaints. I’ll definitely be booking again soon!

Had such a great time and all my friends are still telling me how fun it was! Vintners you’ll always have me as a customer! I cant wait to throw another party there one day.

I will be extremely honest because I know what a low rating means. But it's a starting business and I would love to see them succeeding:

The place is beautiful, the attention great, and the bowling experience is very nice. It's a bit expensive as they charge for games and not for hours. So if people want to make their money last, they can just play slower. And it's very hard to predict bookings. I would charge by hour.

The reason for the 3 star review is mostly and only because of the food. It was very bad. We were served with a pizza that it's clearly frozen pizza. A decent alright burger, and fries that could be better made.

So, be honest with the prices, and the quality of the food you put in there. For the target (And the price), we are expecting good quality all around.

Definitely a bit more attention on that and you guys...
