The worst specialty coffee place largely due to the staff who were plain rude and not knowledge about their products. See below for a timeline: I asked for a pour over coffee (as stated on their menu). I got rudely told it is not something that is done. I pointed at the board showing it being on their menu and was told the machine is broken down. Last I checked there is no machine required and I in fact saw filter paper and the device required. instead I ordered for myself a long black and for my wife a decaf oat latte (note: my wife is lactose intolerant and breastfeeding so she prefers to have decaf and no lactose). whether I got my order wrong or the guy serving me got my order wrong is subject to discussion however there was confusion as to what my order was, so I repeated it. as the man who served me went to make the coffee he then asked whether I wanted a normal latte and I clarified I asked for a decaf oat latte. I then got charged 3.50, an amount which did not reconcile to the price list and it turns out I got charged for a decaf americano (.75 for the decaf) and no decaf oat latte to which I ordered. I then clarified my order one more time as the coffees were being made. the man once again asked as he was making the coffee and I clarified however my wife did point out after asking me he turned his head away and was socialising with his colleague. I then received only a single americano. I then requested I also want a decaf oat latte. Without any apology i then received the addnl coffee. as we walk out my wife turns to me after a sip and told me it was cows milk, so I went back to relive this saga all over again. as frustrations were starting to appear I requested the coffee be remade ensuring it is decaf and oat. I was then requested to be charged .75 as I didn’t pay for oat milk before. I begrudgingly paid however highlighted that it has been a frustrating situation and got paid additionally for an americano (despite asking for a long black) when I never requested for decaf. the server then accused me for getting my order wrong whilst staff around were apologetic on his behalf. Despite clarifying my order multiple times, and my own personal circumstances I am quite sure I wouldn’t get my wife’s order soo wrong and soo many times. to top it off, the oat vs milk confusion was also noted at a surrounding table who sent back a coffee because they received cows milk and not oat, all whilst I was being accused of giving the wrong order.

I can forgive mistakes however when mistakes are made and is complimented with rudeness it is not something that would warrant a return visit.

Whilst there were apologies made it was backhanded with accusations.

I do wish this place all the best and hopefully one day the long journey to discover the difference between oat milk and cows milk...

The food here is AMAZING, I live across the road and every time I come here it’s the best breakfast I’ve ever had, but every single experience I’ve had here (5 in total) has been such a headache it’s not worth coming back. The food has never come out in less than 45 minutes, on one occasion I waited for over an hour and ended up having to leave before my food arrived, this morning I waited again for almost one hour and the staff came over to ask if we were waiting for food- super infuriating!! Hardly any apologies, but we had already waited so long so we reminded the staff of our order and as usual the food finally arrived another 40 minutes later and we devoured every bite but felt extremely annoyed that it’s so inconvenient to eat here. It shouldn’t take close to 2 hours to go out for breakfast. The food is great and there is a lot of potential but until the wait times and forgetting orders is fixed we won’t be coming back. The coffee can also be either really great or really burnt so I don’t think we will return for coffee either. Very disappointing as we tried the new sushi menu too...

Not a pleasant experience at all!

Went there to sit down and enjoy a coffee only to be told that they will be closing in 20min AFTER I already paid and sat down at a table. If the lady at the counter would have told me about the closing times before I ordered and paid, I would not have said anything since it would have been my choice if I wanted to drink my coffee in a hurry or not. But to take the money from the customer and than tell me we are closing in 20min is just rude and shows that there is no customer service at all and that is all about the money for them.

5min before closing time an other server came to our table and in a rude voice said: "5 minutes left" (like I'm in school and my teacher reminds me that my exam time is nearly over) Has no one in this coffee shop heared the word customer service before.

The coffee itself was okay and the fresh pressed orange juice was fine but unfortunately not cold but room temperature warm.

Overall a true disappointment and I definitely won't return and rather give my money to businesses that actually know the word...

The place looks nice and I wanted to go there and eat from the first time that I’ve see people enjoying they breakfast at the outside table. We went for brunch and they told us they don’t do food anymore, but the breakfast menu was still on the counter. The lady told us that the kitchen is closed but after other staff said it was ok to order. They told us they have only scrambled eggs so we order 2 scrambled with avocado, halloumi and salmon on the side. The portions were a bit not what we expected for the money that we paid. The salmon size was a bit stingy. Just the egg portion was ok. They could’ve send a side portion of salmon to make it up for us but that didn’t happen. Even the coffee was too pricey and not that good as I was expected. I don’t think we will be going there.

Chairs & Coffee is an icon of brunch in Fulham, serving up a delightful blend of artisan-roasted coffee and delectable breakfast and brunch dishes. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, this cozy spot offers a warm and inviting ambiance that pairs perfectly with their flavorful menu. Whether you’re craving a hearty breakfast or a light bite, Chairs & Coffee has something to satisfy every palate. So, why not indulge in a memorable dining experience filled with rich flavors and exceptional service. Simply if you up for a really great coffee with delicious avocado toast combined with cozy atmosphere, you don't have to search anymore, you have it all in one place. Highly recommended.

I was looking for a typical English breakfast in the area after working out, and Chairs and Coffee did not disappoint! The food was delicious (especially the mushrooms)! The owner, Shruti, was very helpful, friendly, and accommodating of my food allergies (can't consume dairy or caffeine). She made me an iced, caramel, decaf, oat milk latte. It was so good -- what a treat! We chatted about the weather, traveling, and what to do / where to eat in the city. I definitely recommend this restaurant!
