I hope this message finds you well.
I am writing to express my disappointment regarding the service I experienced during my visit to your café today at 10:45 AM with my mother.
We ordered a veggie breakfast and an eggs Benedict with salmon. Unfortunately, our experience was far from satisfactory.
Firstly, it took over 25 minutes for our meals to arrive. Initially I just thought it may be due to the fact that you were busy, however I noticed people that came after us had received their meals.
When my mother’s veggie breakfast finally came out, it contained bacon. As someone from a Muslim background who wears a headscarf, (both me and my mother are VISIBLY muslim) this was particularly concerning. While I would like to believe that this was an honest mistake and not an issue of cultural insensitivity, I am still perplexed as to how bacon ended up in a dish labeled as vegetarian.
Additionally, my eggs Benedict was served without the side of feta, which I had to request separately (again) and wait another five minutes for. When I finally cut into the egg, it was undercooked and oozing all over my plate, necessitating another return to the kitchen. To make matters worse, my request for a glass of water took an additional 10 minutes, despite the café not being particularly busy at the time.
I had requested to speak with a manager, but unfortunately, no one came to address my concerns. I had to get up and seek assistance myself, despite being on crutches due to a broken ankle. While I don’t expect ANYONE to wait on me hand and foot, both my crutch and cast were visible and I was offered no help.
As I approached one of the ladies at the till to discuss my concerns, she simply removed the charge for my turmeric latte and apologized. However, it felt as though my issues were being dismissed rather than genuinely addressed. the only acknowledgment I received was that I wasn’t charged for a turmeric latte.
While I appreciate that gesture, it does not address the overall experience I endured.
I would like to commend one of your staff members, a young lady who served us. Although I did not catch her name, her kindness and attentiveness stood out amidst the chaos. However, I believe it is crucial for the management to address the significant lapses in service quality that I experienced today.
I hope to receive an explanation regarding the inclusion of bacon in the veggie breakfast and the issues with my eggs.
As a resident of Fulham with several family businesses on North end Road, I am familiar with the local demographic. I believe it is essential for your staff to receive training on how to cater to the diverse needs of this community. This experience was disappointing, especially in a multicultural area where inclusivity and attention to dietary restrictions should be...

If you're searching for a place that feels like a warm hug on a chilly day, look no further than Café. Nestled in the heart of downtown, this charming little spot is a true gem that combines delicious food with an incredibly friendly atmosphere.
From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with enthusiastic smiles and a cheerful "Welcome!" from the staff. The ambiance is inviting, with soft music playing in the background and cozy seating that encourages you to sit back and relax. It’s the kind of place where you can easily lose track of time, whether you’re catching up with friends or diving into a good book.
The menu offers an impressive selection of coffees, teas, and pastries, all made with high-quality ingredients. I decided to try their signature latte, and it did not disappoint! It was perfectly brewed, creamy, and adorned with a beautiful latte art heart. The blueberry muffin I ordered alongside it was fresh and bursting with flavor—definitely a must-try!
What truly sets The Cozy Corner apart, however, is the staff. Each member radiates genuine warmth, making you feel like a valued guest rather than just another customer. They are always ready with recommendations and take the time to chat, making everyone feel at home. It's clear that they take pride in their work and care about the experience they provide.
The café also hosts community events, which adds to the friendly vibe. Whether it’s an open mic night or a book club meeting, it’s a place where connections are made, and conversations flow freely.
In conclusion, Café is more than just a place to grab a cup of coffee; it’s a community hub filled with kindness and deliciousness. If you’re in the area, make sure to stop by—you might just find your new...
Read moreHate walk cafe. I have eaten here and taken out a number of times but today’s service was appalling. From the moment we came it was like we were disgusting to them. My friend asked for an extra chair, was told to grab one when it comes available meanwhile they had chairs on the side alley, some even folded. We let it go, I got the extra chair myself. manager came to take the order we asked for her to kindly clear the table and clean it- her response you should have waited to be sat down. Told her her colleague told us to sit- she goes oh. Food took an hour, we thought okay busy time. My friend ordered a happy vegan- half the toast was burnt, when she got to the half she went to complain and the manager’s response- so do you want me to scrap it off unto another toast? A chap next to us had his food served to the wrong table of two. After about 15mins they called the manager to tell her, she carried the food looks around and brings it to this guy. He complains about the food being cold- her response well people keep changing tables and we can’t keep chasing people. He ate a bit of the food and left. Paid in full and left but this is the last time. It feels like there are trying to cater to a service with not enough man power but no need to be rude to people, acknowledge your customer’s concerns and apologize. It’s a paid service and this was...
