To begin with, the ice cream was great as always, no complaints there at all, great job everyone.
Our experience though was terrible today.
There is a nice sign at the door informing that only 3 customers can be in the shop at the same time, which is understandable since it is quite narrow.
When we arrived, there were 8 people inside so we waited outside, at the front of the queue. When two customers left, the person at the till (someone with an âangry teethâ mask) called us to come in. We kindly declined and waited for more people to leave. The cashier kept calling us but we only entered after there were only two other people inside since there is no point entering in any case as the people serving the ice cream could only serve about 3 people at the same time.
After we payed and waited for our ice creams to be prepared, the cashier ushered another 5 people inside resulting at us having to wait next to so many other people while they were not even being served, they were just waited next to us.
Please, someone, stress out to your employees that guidelines should be followed. We will be coming back of course, I just wanted to let you know how uncomfortable we felt trying to keep social distancing while the employee was pushing us to disregard it.
I will gladly change my review the next time I visit if social distancing is no longer in place or if it is properly followed by the employees.
Once again, great ice cream, thank you...
Read more18:30 I visited Amorino Ealing on Saturday, October 12, 2024, with my family, including three kids, two of whom are autistic. We ordered five cups of ice cream â two chocolate, two pistachio, and one tiramisu. While the ice cream was delicious, the service, especially from the manager, was appalling.
The staff member serving us asked which flavors we wanted repeatedly, which was frustrating but at least he was polite. However, the manager rudely jumped into the conversation, interrupting, and asking me to rejoin the queue, even though it wasnât busy at the time. His tone and attitude were extremely unprofessional, especially considering the challenges we were facing communicating with two autistic children.
I politely asked him not to speak to me in that manner, but he continued to be dismissive, which completely ruined our evening. Itâs disappointing that such poor customer service would be tolerated, particularly from someone in a managerial position.
I strongly urge the owner and franchise management to review the CCTV from this evening and take disciplinary action against the manager. I will be calling to follow up on this matter, as...
Read moreToday was the first time going into the Ealing branch for ice cream with my family. I must say it was a terrible first experience. We were a bit rushed even though we were the only customers in the shop. After paying for our ice creams, we were told to choose our flavours, ( this part can be a bit confusing because we were not told you can choose various flavours in order to create a rose cone) anyway, my husband and I chose our flavour, and as there were 4 people serving in an extremely quiet shop, two different staff asked us which flavour we wanted. So in the confusion, they gave us a duplicate order. Now normally, this error can be solved with an apology and immediate replacement. But this wasnât the case, instead I was told that it was my fault, and that I should pay attention when placing an order!!! They refused to replace the duplicate order until my husband got involved and made them take it back and give us what we wanted. We were then told that they will replace it, but only after we were told we must know itâs our fault. The level of customer service was appalling and ruined what should have been an enjoyable first...
