We were regular customer of this restaurant until 30th December when we ordered food for lunch at office. We had Soup, Chappal Kebab, Daal Chawal, Channay, Naan and few more things which I don't remember now. When asked the sales person in the shop to please confirm if the food is fresh which he assured it was. When we got back to office we found that Soup had lumps in it clearly it was not fresh and had been sitting from ages, Chappal Kebab was absolutely disgusting and size was less than half a palm of hand and thin as air, Channay had no taste at all clearly because it had been sitting there from ages. We called the shop straight away and the guy who served us I spoke to him and explained him the situation and he said bring back the phone which I explained him will not be possible atm as we were back in office. He took my name and said please call us back and we will give you food for same worth. We were happy with solution . We have tried calling this restaurant 4 times after that and they never picked up phone until today when someone picked phone after 6 calls. Upon speaking to this guy who clearly had no manners how to talk to people and infact questioned the whole scenario that this even happened. It was only 46£ but I would rather not go back to this place where you are promised something else and given something else. Looking into reviews I am not surprised I am the only one who faced the taste of such low...
Read moreAnyone that's gives this places more than 2 stars, either has low standards or doesn't get out much. The only pros are the restaurant is clean and modern, but since it's just had a facelift that's a given.
Let's talk about the food. The only good thing was the naan. I ordered some masala chips, what I got was chips with a pinch of masala dust over them. I sent that back.
A chicken paratha roll. Wasn't a paerata, was a roti, with some cheap salad and over cooked peices of chicken on top.. Not even rolled.
Mali tikka. Dry and tasteless. I can make better myself at home.
The biryani was too bad, but after waiting 30mins it arrived. But I was given a chicken, when I ordered a lamb.
But the worse thing was the peshari lamb Karahi. I mean this was so bad. Boiled meat with tomatos. Tough meat with no flavour. Who on earth eats this. So bad. I had to send it back 2 times and still it wasn't eatable.
They still had the cheek to charge me for the chips and Karahi. They ended up just rounding my bill to £30 after I complained.
The only good thing was at least the young Waitress who did her best. But food was bad and took a long time to come out. There was a mum and her son that waited 40mins for some masala chips. The look on there face when it came was priceless. But they ate as they waited so long.
Anyways. Avoid. This place. Its just the same as zaza with a...
Read moreI ordered the fresh lamb karahi, word of advice, they state its Lamb on the menu but serve you mutton they charge u for 1kg but give u half, same for the chicken karahi absolutely disgraceful service we recieved the owner was there who knew we weren't happy and shrugged his shoulders because he wasnt bothered at all, I will never be going back very disappointed and bad service, they don't serve the food as on the menu they Rob you of your money, they over charge you so make sure you cueck your receipt, they are very deceiving I wouldn't even give 1 star rating but had to because I had to write the review. They are earning haram money deceiving customers of giving wrong meat.. As there's no section to reply to the owner it was a large lamb karahi we orderd it was definitely mutton as we have visited many many resturants and we know and can taste the difference between lamb and mutton you call a large lamb karahi with a overload of big bones and not no boneless meat definitely money making scheme I definitely stand by my review and opinion, at the time we were there the owner didn't bother speaking to us so why should I speak...
