Before getting into a full review of this place, let me just advice you guys to avoid this place if you want fresh, tasty food. Your better off buying a supermarket microwave meal....as that will be more fresh and will have more flavour then any of the curries here.
Now, I was really looking forward to eating here as its the latest addition to a long street full of asian food. I was surprised to see they were not busy on a Friday night but i overlooked that thinking they've only been open for between 8-12 months now so il just give them a chance and see how it goes. I went in with my daughter, brother and sister in law and was seated fairly quick. The place was decorated well and the tables were clean. The lady server had slight difficulty understanding us but that wasn't a massive issue. After looking over the menu, I asked her recommendation, to which she said the Aloo Gosht, I asked for it to be spicier and give extra curry sauce. We also ordered poppadoms, masala chips, meat kebabs, butter chicken and chicken jalfrezi. We we given the kebabs, masala chips and all the bits that come with the poppadoms....except for the actual the poppadoms. We were waiting for the poppadoms for a while until the lady server came back and apologized that there were no more poppadoms???? On a Friday night, they haven't got the most basic thing every Asian restaurant would have. Ok, we overlooked this and were still in a positive vibe patiently waiting for our meals. The lady server came and gave us 2 glasses and a jug of water....bere in mind there are 4 of us there.... I thought she's going back to get 2 more glasses....5 mins pass and there are just the 2 glasses sitting on our table, I called the male server over and I asked for our glasses....he came back and gave 1 glass???? I'm really confused at this point so I call the lady server over and we both played a game of counting. I counted out how many people are sitting and how many glasses were on the table, after counting twice she finally understood the assignment and gave another glass. This we still overlooked and stayed in our positive vibe....until.... our meals came to our table and we ate our meals!
ALOO GOSHT- undercooked white looking meat seemed like it was a stew rather than a curry, tasteless, no flavour at all, lack of seasoning. The sweet chilli sauce that came for the poppadoms had more flavour than this curry. I also asked for extra spicy but that was hilarious as the curry came with no flavour at all so forget about the request for extra spice.
BUTTER CHICKEN- they should name this Lemon and Lime Chicken Curry! chicken was off, full curry was sour and very Lime-ey. I don't think butter exists in this curry, poor chicken sacrificed it's life for no reason.
CHICKEN JALFREZI- oily, tasteless, watery, looked and tasted like the chicken was boiled separately and tossed into a joke of a sauce they call a jalfrezi curry. Definitely not freshly made.
MEAT KEBABS- Can't complain, it was decent. Tasted good, looked good and presented very well. Good amount of sauce ratio to salad and the meat. Seemed fresh and came warm too.
MASALA CHIPS- Tasted good, looked good, does have room for improvement but it wasn't a concern as different restaurants make it different ways.
NAANS AND BUTTER NAAN- It was ok, served warm and fresh. Tasted good.
At the end of our meal we raised our concerns and this was passed over to the manager, who came to our table and tried to sort things out. I would like to say that he dealt with our complaints very well, he is nice, remained calm and spoke with great respect. However he didn't agree with our complaints and simply said that this is how they make their dishes and that's how they are served, I did advise him to go to the back and taste the foods we were served or try it from our dishes (we didn't eat more 2 tablespoons of 2 of the dishes) but he remained firm in the fact that there was nothing wrong with them. I hope the kitchen can improve thier dishes or I don't see them being open for long and this is the advice I...

Read moreI have been a regular customer at this restaurant for the past few months, but I must say that the service has significantly deteriorated over the last month or two. The staff members have been rude and consistently serve food very late, often with a disrespectful attitude.
One particular incident stood out to me: as soon as I sat down to order, a waitress approached us with a poor attitude and rudely demanded that we leave our table because another customer was waiting for food. However, this customer arrived after us, and we had actually been waiting for a table for 45 minutes. It seemed that she prioritised the other customers for no apparent reason.
The waitress pressured us to leave, showing a complete lack of respect. It was frustrating and disrespectful. Overall, the service at this restaurant has been a disaster, and the staff exhibit rude and annoying behaviour. I recommend that if you value your time and respect, you should avoid this restaurant. While the food may be good, you won’t receive the respect or good service you deserve. Additionally, the tables are not cleaned promptly; you often have to call someone three to five times just to get...
