Read moreI was excited when my boyfriend ordered a heart-shaped Black Forest cake for my birthday, as it's one of my favourite desserts. Unfortunately, the experience was far from what we had hoped for.
Upon cutting the cake, it was evident that it had been previously frozen. The texture was unusually firm, and there were still icy patches inside, making it difficult to slice and less than enjoyable to eat.
The taste did not reflect the classic Black Forest flavour I cherish.
Given the price and the occasion, I expected a freshly made cake that would enhance the celebration. Instead, this cake felt like an afterthought, lacking the care and quality one would anticipate from a reputable bakery.

Good variety of desserts, unfortunately incredibly stale every time. Their idea of fresh is to prepare, freeze the deserts and when the stock runs out defrost and leave in a fridge until it's sold. I tried it with a made to order birthday cake, and various deserts with my family.
The staff are also polite at times, but more often rude. Note to the management, please inform your staff to remember that other people speak Albanian and Greek so they can understand what you say behind customers' backs.
By the way the owners are Albanian so I am not sure about the "Greek" authenticity, but that doesn't matter. What matters is the quality of what is on offer and the customer service, unfortunately both absent.
