Archers — Restaurant in London

Review during Lockdown, July 2020: Almost felt like normal to go back to a pub again. Lovely welcome at the door from member of staff who was the monitor. The young chap explained the way it works of how to order through app. Some issues of some of the tables not appearing in the app or tickets not being closed but as this a new process for everyone quite understandable and staff kept their cool so customer service was of high level. They have tables outside - front and back. Would recommend booking if there is more than 2 of you. If you are not appy savy or the app doesn't work they still allow you to order from the bar as the app is not perfect and receipts are slow to be processed. Otherwise its super clean at all times and social distancing is being adhered to if you are looking for safe pub visit for punters of all ages over 18. They have one way system and show which tables are clean for use, just make sure your table isn't blocked for pre-booking to avoid being moved as the seating is cleaned down again. Sanitising stations available and toilets were clean during our visit.

3rd August: Archers is taking part in the Eat out to help out so don't delay...book ahead or if your local then just stop by if the app isn't working. First night out and its sad to see not many people taking up this offer but hoping people will take the plunge and get back to "normal" as its not heaving like most people believe it will be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Hidden Gem with Top-Notch Service

Stopped in at Archers the Pub last weekend and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between cozy and lively—classic pub charm with just the right amount of buzz.

What really stood out, though, was the service. Sarah, the bartender, was absolutely fantastic. Friendly without being overbearing, fast with the pours, and she somehow remembered everyone's names and usual orders within an hour. That kind of attention makes all the difference. Plus, her cocktail game? On point. Highly recommend asking for whatever she’s mixing up—she won’t steer you wrong.

Drinks were reasonably priced, the beer selection had a solid mix of local and well-known favorites, and the food (especially the wings) was way better than your typical pub fare.

Excellent, engaging and enthusiastic are three words that describe the service I received from Donna. Having spent a laborious day in the City and worried about finding a place to eat on my return to my hotel, particularly as there was live football showing that night, I was assured by the lovely Donna that a place would be found for me and so it was! I was afforded a warm welcome and enjoyed the atmosphere complemented by a real log fire. The food was hot, served quickly, and the portions a good size. There was a good selection of drinks and the prices were very reasonable, certainly compared to the City. I very much appreciated Donna checking in from time to time to ensure that my dining experience met my expectations, and so it did.
