Good food, cooked properly and tastes great; atmosphere is fitting although the place is small unfortunately that's where the positives end, from the moment I walked in the service was terrible, I had booked a seat at the window front over a phone reservation only to find out that the woman working there had not reserved it despite telling me she had...

Okay that's fine right?, Well prompted the male staff for a seat by the window as it was empty, he had told me it's reserved, no problem until he also followed with "we don't know if you really did reserve anything, there's no call recordings or evidence", so I proceed to show the call recording as all my calls are logged and recorded, he refused to listen and gave us an okay seat.

I had prompted the female staff member for a non-alcoholic drink, a mocktail; to which I was told that they don't have it despite my partner drinking one they had served, she then proceeded to serve me non-alcoholic Bloody Mary's, to which I had 86'd the drink as who is going to drink tomato juice with spice?

Problems didn't end there, male staff was offended when I removed the service charge as they did not offer any form of service that is acceptable in catering and hospitality, I had also requested to remove the charges for the 86'd drinks as it was a poor and distasteful drink to recommend.

On top of all of this, they did not provide any cutlery with the food, any glasses or jugs for water nor did they provide any paper napkins.

Bottom line verdict: Great food, nice location and atmosphere, royally ruined by the rude and...

Drinks were amazing, unfortunately that was the only good thing about the place. It took 25 minutes for someone to ask us for drinks after we were seated and an additional 20 minutes for the drinks to arrive. Food was very bland. After we’d voiced our opinions of the food to two different members of staff we then had to wait 15 minutes for someone to ask us if we wanted anything else to eat/ the bill ect. We ended up flagging a supervisor ourselves as this was apparently too much work for the other two servers to do. The supervisor was immediately on the defensive when I stated we were waiting for drinks for 40 mins or so, explained the issues with the food the 3rd time and said he would take a service charge off witch I wasn’t willing to pay anyway like he had done me a favour, we returned one dish which he presented a bill for and again had to remind him then he confirmed with a member of staff, then presented us with a second bill with amended balance then walked off to deal with other customers instead of dealing with us then he decided around 8 mins or so later to ask his member of staff to collect payment, I was at this point livid with his customer service skills as a manager and offered no apology for the service he had a very ‘couldn’t be arsed’ attitude towards us as a family so really I’m giving this review so it makes all aware what they are in for when they visit for me I’d give a zero rating but I give the benefit of the doubt because the drinks were fresh and very refreshing personal note give up the food and...

I was with my family on Sunday for lunch at this restaurant. It wasn't busy so we didn't have to wait long for our orders. Venezuelan style interior design, a very nice view of the water canal from the window, there were also tables outside. We ordered Yuca Fries, Bunuelos and Fried Chicken for starters (originally, Fried Chicken is slightly spicy, but we asked for it to be unspiced because our little daughter was going to eat it, and that's what we got). Yuca fries were delicious! Bunuelos was also very tasty as was the fried chicken. For the main course we took Arepa Pollo Frio and Arepa Pernil. Although the Arepas portions were not large, it was very filling and tasty. For dessert we ordered Tres Leches which was also ok but a bit too sweet for me. I think that lovers of very sweet desserts will definitely like it. The juices were very good! Unfortunately, the downside of the restaurant is that there is only one toilet that you enter directly from the restaurant, so most of the time we were in the restaurant, there was a queue for the toilet, and our table was right next to this queue, so people stood right at our table while we ate. It wasn't very comfortable. In addition, the toilet was dirty, there was no hand soap and toilet paper, although the staff also used this toilet and probably saw its condition. The staff was kind. Overally, the atmosphere of the restaurant was very pleasant, the food wad tasty, the prices were affordable, the downside was cleanliness...

Cute little Venezuelan restaurant with delicious food at a beautiful riverside. The staff is super nice. Nothing else to add really. The location is perfect. Located at a quite road directly at a small river with a pretty viney house just across the water. Maybe a little hard to find by chance, but definitely worth checking out when stumbling across it. The food is absolutely delicious. I've never had Venezuelan before and unfortunately it's my last day in London, else I would have come here again. I definitely will when I happen to be in London again. We were a group of 7 people and had pretty much all starters. We all agreed that all of them were fantastic. After raising the bar the expectations for the main dishes were high. And we weren't disappointed. It may sound ridiculous and it surely feels so writing this out. But the food was the best I've had in a very long time. I can't even pinpoint certain things. It just was everything. The great staff, the beautiful location, the terrific food. For all of that the price is pretty fair as well. London is a bit more expensive than other cities, so in comparison to other restaurants this definitely offers quite a bit more for the same amount of money. Even if it may sound like it, this review wasn't bought or anything. I wish :D But seriously, do yourself a favour and try it out. Either you just aren't into that kind of food, or you will love it. I definitely did!

I was longing for Hallaca (Venezuelan Christmas specialty) a long time ago; we did book the restaurant, and my husband recommended I call them and let them know I would like to have Hallaca. I didn't call them because I assumed they would have it; my bad. If you want to have Hallaca during the Christmas season, you have to ask in advance because everybody wants that delicious plate. My experience was beyond what I expected because even though they didn't have any Hallacas available for serving without having booked before, they made an extraordinary exception for me, something that I really appreciated. I was lucky, and I had my Hallaca which was delicious; it tasted like home! My husband was so pleased with the staff, especially with Joaquin; his service was over the top. My husband enjoyed the Old Fashioned whisky cocktails, which he described as a very honest drink. That means they put the fair amount of spirit, in this case whisky, that a nice drink should have. To finish our experience, I was recommended for the staff to have Quesillo as dessert, another Venezuelan exquisiteness. I can't describe the flavor; it was perfect! I could tell the rum, the coffee, the velvet texture melted in my mouth! I don't know if it was the nostalgia for my country's food or because everything was just perfect! I recommend them 💯.
