The hotel was great. I booked an economy double for one night, costing £152. The room was a good size for one. A long, narrow room with plenty of space if you have luggage. The room is ensuite, there was a fridge, good air conditioning, kettle and plugs close to the bed there is also a small table and a couple of chairs. See the video. The ensuite is compact, the sink is very small, and the toilet has a macerator. The shower had almost instant hit water and is very powerful and no leaking onto the floor. See video. Staff were polite and helpful. Both check-in and check-out were smooth experiences. In all, if I was in the Hoxton area, I would use this hotel again without a second thought. About the area. The hotel is well connected with regular buses and overground trains all within a couple of minutes walk of the hotel. There are restaurants and bars left and right of the hotel.

I was not very sure about the place and property, so I booked one room just for a day. Eventually when I arrived the place just after talking with the staff I decided to extend my stay over there for the entire duration my UK trip except for the days during my trip to Scotland. They even upgraded my room. Special thanks to the reception guy Yaseen, he is so welcoming and cooperative that he never allowed me to think that I have been in a new place. The pic is to promote the cool guy who is nurturing huge dreams… next time and for many times I’ll accept the hospitality. The bus stop is just literally 30 secs walk while the Hoxton station is 3 mins walk. And many restaurants and convenience stores. It’s a safe and cool stay for me.

Booked this room wanting a clean, safe, room in a decent area and that is what I got. The room was very clean. There were some chips and such on corners of furniture but the room itself was spotless. The bathroom appeared recently renovated. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located in the vicinity of lots of restaurants and bars so finding something to eat was not a problem. We would stay here again

HORRENDOUS EXPERIENCE! I stayed here and was beyond shocked by my time there. Check in was fine, but when I went to shower in the evening there was no hot water. I called down to reception and was asked if I was sure and that it should be working. I assured the man on reception that it definitely wasn’t working. He told me he would see to it. Twenty minutes later I was told it should be fine after fifteen minutes for the water to heat up. When I tried fifteen minutes later there was no water coming out of the taps whatsoever. It was now 10.45pm and finally the man on reception came upstairs. He then disappeared and an hour later he called my room to tell me it was fixed and again I just needed to wait until the water heater warmed up. twenty minutes later it was still cold. I called yet again and he offered to move me to another room. That happened and all was well so I thought. I discovered early in the morning that the toilet did not flush. Nor did the phone in the room work so I was unable to call and let reception know. I went down to inform him about the toilet which is when he told me to call at 7am... it was 8.30am. He then accused me of taking the television off the wall in the initial room I stayed in. I told him I didn’t touch the TV and in fact there wasn’t even a remote in the first room for me to have been able to use the TV at all. Eventually someone came up to look at the toilet and that was fixed. Then, an hour or so later I discovered that, yet again, the hot water was not working. I again informed reception and was told it was working I just needed to wait. Three hours later after complaining again someone came up to look. Yet even after they left the water was still not hot and I was fed up and had to Leavenworth days before I was due to check out.

I have emailed multiple times to ask for a refund and have received no response. I will be taking legal and public action as this is horrendous and beyond deplorable service and treatment...

We arrived early and left our Bags in reception upon our arrival later on that day we checked in and were told to get our own bags from the cupboard the concierge didn’t know where our bags were and just told us to go through the cupboards these cupboards were not locked or secured in anyway we then went up to our room to which we found holes in our bedding hair on our bed and dried up chewing gum on our duvet we then had four channels on our TV to which there was no signal so neither channel was able to be watched there was no spoons to be used to make cups of tea we had to go downstairs and ask for some we also found it strange that there was no full sized mirror and as we were going out for an evening usually a long mirror is needed to see how you look upon leaving

we would expect this type of standards from a budget style hotel but we had paid a lot of money and expected a lot more and a better clean hygienic service once we had checked out we had to call the hotel Later on that day we rang multiple times So we decided to walk back up to the hotel as we were walking up to the hotel we were still ringing we then went into the hotel while still calling reception and could clearly see that the concierge was just sitting at the desk ignoring the phone we then asked why he wasn’t answering the phone and that we had been trying to get hold of them for over 15 minutes and we were told that he is not there to answer phones he is there to man the desk we found this very strange and the whole stay very disappointing needless to say we will not...

We moved here from another hotel (that didn't have air conditioning and room was hot and road busy so noisy all night). This place was a little more expensive, but worth it as having access to a kitchen with a supermarket just outside can save the extra money spent - also we could've packed lighter knowing there was a washing machine to use. The room was much cooler and had air conditioning if we needed it. A large space for the family to enjoy. Staff were friendly and helpful and booking process fine. We had a large family apartment room. A few details to note for packing - take your own clothes washing soap for washing machine and there was not a lot of space to dry items - I did handwashing and had taken some drying line and pegs to help, but it was difficult to place this. A towel rail in the bathroom or corridor area would probably help here and also for placing the towels. There wasn't 4 sets of forks, knives and spoons in the drawer...we got by, we didn't ask for more, they may have supplied them had we asked. And when in the bathroom, we could hear the conversation very clearly from another room through the air vent...however we couldn't hear this within the rest of the room and it didn't affect our stay. We were very happy with our stay and will definitely be looking to stay here next time we're in the capital. Easy to get to from Central London and just round the corner from Hoxton Underground...
