We spent many months researching and exploring options for a garden studio—there are so many companies out there, but My Room in the Garden stood out head and shoulders above the rest. From the beginning, their design approach, craftsmanship, and the quality of their materials were exceptional. What truly set them apart were the personal touches and their deep understanding of design.

The founders (Tomaso and Jonas) have a background in architecture, which was immediately clear in the way they approached our project—their designs are not only beautifully crafted but also thoughtfully bespoke to each client’s needs. We were warmly welcomed to their London workshop, where we could see the process firsthand, discuss ideas in depth, and select final finishes. That level of care and expertise made all the difference.

The installation was seamless—quick, tidy, and completed with great attention to detail. Now, nearly a year on, the studio has completely transformed both our garden and how we use our home. It’s a space we truly love and are proud of.

We looked. We really looked. And there are hundreds of companies out there that will build you a serviceable, and utterly uninspiring garden room. So we were really glad to find MRITG. There is an emphasis on quality and design that really elevates what they do. We felt involved at every stage, from first design to final finish. And it was clear from the beginning that Jonas and Tomaso wanted to make something unusual, functional and beautiful. Instead of dealing with a chatty salesman from a large, impersonal company you get to talk to the guys who run the company, and will personally design every aspect of the build. And it pays off. We now have a really wonderful space that was designed uniquely for us and the way we want to use it. And we love it. To be fair, it took longer than planned to complete the project. And sometimes the communication ran dry. But they are a small company and I guess they’re a bit too busy sometimes because what they offer is very good. And then I suppose I’ve never heard of a construction project that didn’t overrun! So it’s 5 Stars from us.. for doing something different, and doing it...

We absolutely love our garden office, and are so pleased we went with My Room in the Garden! We got a few quotes when we began planning to replace our dilapidated and leaking garden shed -- we wanted bespoke and modern but not insanely expensive -- Jonas and Tomaso ticked all the boxes. They really listened to what we wanted from the start and delivered exactly what we asked for. They were helpful with practical and aesthetic suggestions, accommodating and patient with any mid-process changes (thank you!!), and we were also happy with their construction team. They even dealt with slightly concerned neighbours really sensitively and we felt we were always in good hands with them. And most importantly, we love our garden office!
