Arks of Deptford is an absolute gem in the heart of Deptford ! I recently had the pleasure of visiting this charming establishment, and I can confidently say it deserves every one of its 5 stars.

From the moment I walked through the doors, I was welcomed with warm smiles and impeccable service. The ambiance is nothing short of magical; it strikes the perfect balance between cozy and elegant. The decor is tasteful, creating a soothing and inviting atmosphere.

The menu is a culinary delight. Arks of Deptford offers a wide range of dishes that cater to various palates, and each one is a work of art in itself. The flavours and presentation of the food ,especially the tacos and burgers, are outstanding, and you can taste the freshness and quality of the ingredients in every bite.

The wine selection is impressive, offering a great variety to complement your meal. The staff is knowledgeable about the wine pairings and was more than happy to help me choose the perfect one for my dish.

The service at Arks of Deptford is impeccable. The staff is attentive, friendly, and eager to make your dining experience memorable, especially like to say a big thank you to Arkin, Hussein and Nikki. They were all very patient in answering all my questions and were quick to accommodate my friends dietary requirements.

I can't forget to mention the sticky toffee pudding; it was the perfect ending to an exceptional meal. The presentation was beautiful, and the taste was even better. It was a sweet conclusion to a perfect evening.

Food came out at different times and the avocado on toast was very disappointing. Avocado not fresh and clearly shop bought pre-smashed. The bread was barely toasted as well. Burgers were terrible, overcooked patties, sauce lacklustre and limp lettuce. They also came out at different times. Surely you would cook two burgers together rather than one after the other, making the second person wait for their food while the whole table has theirs? Extremely disgusted by the owners son picking his nose and eating it while standing behind the bar in plain sight… not once but 3 times!!! It made us all feel so sick and we had to leave straight away. Will not be returning and will not be recommending to friends. Such a shame, however, our waiter was lovely so couldn’t...

A few months back my colleague booked lunch for six of us. As soon as we walked in the chef audibly swore. The lady serving said sorry, but because of the size of our group we would have to wait a long time. It was busy but not full. I mentioned we reserved and she didnt register, but later transpired they were unable to access the reservations. One of our group left and we all ordered burgers but it took nearly an hour to serve us with customers who came in later getting served first. When I asked for an update I was told that she had warned me there would be a delay. So service poor, and food was pretty average,...
