I love this place- can't wait to return. ||Hospitality is off the charts amazing - Both Lekha and her team are outstanding. It's seriously like being with family when you stay there.||Lekha takes care of anything you need - questions about the area, massage, yoga, groceries, local places, etc. || It's away from the busy vibe of London, but only a 10 minute Uber Drive. Close to tube also. I was looking for a reasonably priced place and had never been to London before so I am so glad I found Primrose, ||The purpose of the trip was to mainly see my birthplace and Abbey Road- both within walking distance so I definitely hit the jackpot at Primrose! I had a friend visit from another town for a few days but was solo most of the time. I felt very safe as a single woman traveler.||The breakfast is so delicious and the kitchen/dining area is always available, stocked with coffee (even espresso!) teas, fruit and snacks. After most days of heavy touring, it was so wonderful to come 'home' and just relax. I stayed in Room 5- I even saw the New Years fireworks...
Read moreI visited from Paris and stayed for 12 nights . I liked the place a lot. At a comfortable walking distance( 7 minutes) from the nearest tube station , the guest house is situated in a very chic and quiet neighborhood: between England's lane on one side and Haverstock hill and Belsize park gardens on the other. The room and the surroundings ( entrance , staircase ) were spic and span. The room was cleaned every day. Towels , bed sheets were changed regularly. The room has a boiling kettle and coffee and tea sachets . The owner was very attentive and engaged if one had an issue. The guesthouse is for people who want to experience a homely , relaxed environment in a very beautiful and serene neighborhood of London. The restaurant scene around I s not extraordinary but there are many nice cafes and some 'okay ' restos. To sum it all up I'd say Cute, Clean, Comfy . Would love to...
Read moreReyka was the perfect host! Caring, voluble and very helpful to a pair of oldsters who were seeking other accommodation after a terrible Airbnb experience. This is not a fancy place with high-end finishes; rather, it's homey, a little tired but super-cozy! We felt it was the perfect place from which to see family, explore the neighborhood, and see some attractions in a relaxed way after a ten-day small group tour of Ireland that had us going 9-6pm every day. It's super well-located -- England's Lane with its cafes, restaurants and shops is a two-minute walk away (the team at Sablé d'Or are particularly good at being welcoming for coffe, breakfast or lunch) and it's a short walk away from Hampstead Heath's wide-open spaces. Stay with Reyka and tell her Anne and...
