The people who work here are nice. I think they could make a couple of minor changes to make things easier for themselves and customers: a) I was told recently that it is Boot's policy to keep the door locked (when necessary) due to shoplifters but there is no sign on the door telling customers to knock and please wait for a few minutes until someone has time to let them in. So, I and another customer were left waiting outside puzzled for a few minutes, wondering what was going on/whether we were doing something wrong/why the automatic door opening button next to the door wasn't working etc....Then a lady who came after us kept knocking repeatedly and with increasing intensity while we were being served and was really quite annoyed by the time she got in because she felt that she had been ignored. Then the sales assistant who let her in got upset because she had done her best and didn't appreciate being on the receiving end of an outburst. I think a simple notice on the door to explain the situation would help to 'manage customer expectations' and improve the working environment for the staff. b) on a couple of occasions I've seen a customer push in front of other customers who are waiting to be served. If the staff could respect the first come first served system and say 'I'll be with you in a minute I just need to serve this customer first,' I think this would help to improve...
Read moreQuite possibly the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. Pick one or more of the below and there is 100% chance it will occur here:
A) no answer on telephone (you can try for hours from 0900-1900 and no one will answer! I even called whilst INSIDE the pharmacy only to watch them ignore the phone ringing.) B) prescription not ready despite been sent over to them by GP (often claiming it’s not been sent yet despite confirmation from GP that it has.) C) do not have stock of medications (not unlike many others; can’t wait for Amazon Prime to do prescriptions!) D) extraordinary wait to be served.
I imagine the pharmacist in charge here has little-to-no interest in the patient experience. I would actively avoid this pharmacy unless you enjoy being frustrated with the terrible service...
Read moreThe young female shop assistant, who appeared to be of Middle Eastern origin and dressed in what seemed to be Islamic attire, had a poor work attitude. She didn't thank customers and threw the receipt at me curtly. Furthermore, she spent her time chatting idly with other staff and paid no attention to customers. Her extremely rude behaviour left me feeling very upset.
When I asked whether payment could be made by card or cash, she replied, ‘Card payment only.’ However, this was actually untrue; customers can choose their payment method. Providing customers with false information, coupled with her lazy and unpleasant work attitude, is unacceptable. To the Manager: You must fundamentally review your staff training. Do not employ staff who exhibit such inappropriate...
