I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aya on Wimbledon Broadway, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly and attended to by the fantastic server, Abdulla.

Abdulla's service was impeccable, and he truly went above and beyond to make my visit memorable. The standout was undoubtedly the salad he prepared, which was hands down the best I've ever had, and that's saying a lot considering my extensive travels throughout the Middle East.

The mix grill I ordered was a masterpiece in itself. Cooked to perfection, each bite was a delightful explosion of flavors that showcased the culinary expertise of Aya's kitchen. The attention to detail and the quality of ingredients were evident throughout the meal.

I wholeheartedly recommend Aya Wimbledon to anyone looking for an authentic and remarkable Lebanese dining experience. The combination of Abdulla's exceptional service and the outstanding food make Aya a must-visit restaurant. Terrible. This was my third trip there, I was really trying to become a fan of this place as I like small, family-run businesses. Service on this occasion was really subpar (21.06.2014). Staff were apathetic, got our order wrong, and they overcharged us. I also noticed them eyeing up a group of Polish ladies who came in after us. The food was also put together in a slapdash way, my sharwarma wrap just fell apart after unwrapping the paper packaging around it). To top it off, both my friends and myself felt rather bloated just after eating it and it promptly brought our night out to a close. We felt no better in the morning. Came in here for the first time, instantly felt really uncomfortable like I was being scowled at. I asked a couple really basic questions about the contents of the wrap, I got short and blunt answers like it was the biggest bother in the world to talk to me.

After reading some of the reviews, I was really optimistic about this, but I certainly will not be going back. If the food was good, I could put this experience aside, but it is real bad.
