Was around the area when we saw this new place, so popped in to have a quick snack. We chose the Japanese pork belly for the open bao and the chicken honey ginger teriyaki and the kung pao shrimp baos. These were good portions and satisfied my snack craving. The taste of the baos were really good, yummy - the pork belly has a slight spicy-ness to it which I love; you can taste the honey and ginger in the chicken bao and the kung pao shrimp was equally delicious. I like the fact that there's a good ratio between the filling and the bao bun itself, this means I do get a good taste of the filling and not just the fluffy bun. For drinks we tried the healthy green juice which was very refreshing. Next time though I'd like to try the wine and cocktails in a can ;-).
I will definitely come back again and try out the other baos they have; may do a take-away and grab a few wine or cocktails in a can and have a picnic in the park...

Several items were missing from the menu but it was difficult to establish which as the chef and the cashier didn't seem to share a common language. Then after a lengthy wait (we were the only customers in the place) the cashier was sent out with a confused message about 'something' being delayed. It was unclear what items or how long the delay might be. Once we asked for a refund it all miraculously improved but it was a pretty dire experience. There was a delivery driver in there at the same time also complaining about long delays. Maybe some staff training needed? Such a shame as we used to...
Read moreThe Nashville hot fried chicken open bao with iced coffee : a perfect spicy snack. I particularly love the hot sauce, it has a perfect tangy-ness to it and the right level of spiciness that is not overpowering. The gentleman behind the counter did say that I may have to wait 10 minutes as it is being freshly made but it definitely took less than that to arrive. As I was eating in there I would be perfectly okay if it were to be served on a little plate - it's just a shame to waste the beautiful box/container and plastic cutlery (I do prefer to devour a bao bun with my hands :)) and paper bag if one is not having it as take-away. Will have to come back and try the...
