Prospect Place Playground — Attraction in London

Haven’t managed to take my five year old here yet, but just walked past it and it looks like a great new playground.

You can now walk straight through from the new tube station rather than having to walk all the way round as Google maps suggests meaning that it’s only a minutes walk from the station. You can also now walk through to the shops, restaurants and bars and they’ve opened up the front of the old power station with benches and seats down by the river.

As a parent of a young toddler, I am disappointed by the prospect place playground, our neighborhood's only facility. While it may be a 5-star playground for older children 6 and over, its lack of age-appropriate options and potentially unsafe design make it unsuitable for children under three. Lovely modern play space. Came here with my 4 year old who is not the most confident on play equipment and there wasn’t really much here for her. The slides looks great but were very tall so perhaps better suited to older or more confident children. For her age only really a couple of small low-level wooden bits to climb on.
