Bedside Kosher — Restaurant in London

I had the great misfortune of spending the past week in hospital (thankfully home, writing this) and my biggest concern was the availability of edible kosher food in hospitals. I contacted Bedside Kosher, who supplied varied, delicious and wonderful meals for me for several days and the food had that home-made, special meal cooked by a rabbi's wife sort of homely vibe which was so heartwarming. Bedside Kosher gets it- the Jewish community deserve nutrition which tastes familiar and fantastic, and I would definitely recommend to others. I am beyond impressed with the delicious, perfectly cooked food supplied by Bedside Kosher at UCLH.

I have not eaten properly for 9 days and today I was able to eat, to say i was not looking forward to the normal kosher food served in hospitals would be accurate.

I have been served 5* restaurant standard food, to help at a difficult time.

The portions are very generous and i was not able to eat everything, however with a regular appetite the meals are great.

Also note there were 3 choices for lunch and then 3 different choices for dinner, a great selection.

I HAD TO GO TO THE ROYAL FREE HOSP. FOR A CHECK UP AND AT LUNCH TIME WAS ASKED IF I WANTED LUNCH. I ASKED FOR A KOSHER MEAL AND WAS OFFERED SALMON. IT WAS ''BEDSIDE KOSHER'' AND COULD HAVE SWORN IT CAME FROM A TOP HOTEL. SALMON GLAZED IN A SAUCE, WITH POTATOES, CARROTS AND FRENCH BEANS, UNBELIEVABLY GOOD AND TASTY.
