Food was below average. The prices for the portions were beyond insane. I understand 5 star food and smaller portions for better quality, but this was not it. We ordered the scallops as a tapas dish among others, we paid the most for the scallops £16 for 2 tiny scallops. They were so small and so underwhelming. The minute they arrived I asked to send them back. I said I wasn’t made aware by the waiter that it would be just 2 scallops the size of 10p coins for £16. I said I’m happy not to eat them and don’t want them on the bill. I was told I am free to not eat them if I wish but I will be charged for them as they have been made by the chef. I was told it is not possible to return unless the dish is quality is unsatisfactory in taste. I work in a 5 star restaurant myself and I am aware of the rules if I guest is unsatisfied with their meal, including portion size/value for money if the meal is untouched and uneaten. The response given that this dish would not be taken off the bill or removed from the table even after we complained the second it arrived was appalling. We had also called asking for a table outside and upon arrival we were seated inside. We understand it was a sunny day and people wanted to sit in the open air and we were assured we would be sat outside as soon as a table freed up. We watched them seat 2 new tables before we could grab their interrupted attention to grab a table outside.

Read moreI believe it is a brand new restaurant in the neighbourhood. Amazing Mediterranean dishes. Smoked Burrata cooked in its way.
I enjoyed the parpadelle wild boar dish creamy texture and flavourful. The fillet was cooked beautiful at medium rare and the sauce gravy to it was divine. Tuna steak was alright. For dessert, I think the chocolate fondant did its justice with melting chocolate. Blueberry cheesecake was just too much cream and less cheese taste it felt.
Overall I think it’s a nice restaurant. Though seatings wise was limited upstairs and if you have a baby with you, you probably have limited seating on the normal table. Most of it were high tables on ground floor and there is no lift for me to even carry my buggy down.
We were given table for 4 people which I thought was more comfortable for my wife and I. When the manager knew I have only 2 people and not 3 people, he separated the table to make it two tables. Though not sure who wants to sit on the other table for two when the space in between was so limited and I have an infant with us making noise!
The manager offered us high table initially although I explicitly mention quiet area as will be bringing baby. That’s just the atmosphere bit, overall I did have a great...

From the moment we arrived, the customer service stood out — warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, creating the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed evening out. The food was simply exceptional — beautifully presented and full of flavour. Each dish was thoughtfully prepared and tasted every bit as delicious as it looked. It’s clear that great care and creativity go into the menu. The ambiance was equally impressive — stylish yet cosy, vibrant yet comfortable, making it the perfect setting for catching up with friends. We originally planned to stay for just a couple of hours, but ended up staying much longer simply because we didn’t want the evening to end! Bellazul is a place I will definitely return to — a fantastic addition to London’s dining scene and a true hidden gem. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable night out with great food, atmosphere, and service.
