A new matcha-oriented cafe located near Marylebone that has aesthetically pleasing interior and an array of creative and unique drinks to try as well as their dessert selection. I went for their health/well-being-boosting selection of drinks, the ‘Blue Calm’ that contains caffeine-free matcha, lavender syrup, ashwagandha plant that has number of health benefits that include reduced anxiety, milk, topped with authentic lavender pieces. It had a lovely floral taste that complimented the drink. There was not a strong matcha taste as I was anticipating, more so the oat milk overpowered it. I would most likely opt for the hot version of the drink next time to get the most out of the experience The brownie was hard on the outside with a slight soft inside. Compared to other brownies i have had in the past, this, by far would be my least favourite due to the texture, but would perhaps be a personal preference. For £3.50, I would say it is a little overpriced for what you get. Definitely try for their other dessert selections. Staff were lovely and the service was prompt. If you are a fan of matcha, then this is the place for you. I hope to see more of their matcha desserts

I find it hard to explain How Matcha I love this place, but I’m going to try... Located on Blandford street with a great view of Chiltern street, this is a wonderful new addition to the Marylebone area. Firstly, the vibe is perfect, its fun, pink, and inviting, it’s really hard to just walk by without wandering in. The staff are incredibly friendly and very informed, they have such great energy and are so fun and welcoming! The menu is varied and different from the other matcha places that London has to offer, they also have a fantastic selection of non matcha drinks and they have a good selection of plant based milks to choose from! The Matcha Boba is probably the best one I have had in London so far, I love that I can finally have boba with almond milk! If you’re after something different, the Cacao Chill is a winner, if I were the academy I would give it an Oscar. Foodwise, there is a selection of cakes but the Matcha cookie has stolen my heart, it is soft and crumbly melts in your mouth and just excellent. Overall: 10/10 recommend.

If you are a matcha lover like me then come try this place out. It's a beautiful little shop all dedicated to matcha. Very small inside with only a few seats inside and outside. Nice healthy drink options available. I had the Immune which contained bee pollen, cinnamon, ginger, black pepper, turmeric and honey, with an extra shot of collagen. They also have non matcha drinks like the cocoa tahini drink. We got the Calm which was blue tea, lavender syrup and ashwaganha. There also have normal coffee and boba teas. They have a small selection of treats available like matcha cookies and energy balls. They have products on sale too like matcha powder and matcha whisk. The barista Debbie was very friendly and kind. It's a nice place try something different compared to normal cafes, and it's also a healthy alternative. I would like to come again to try the other drinks.

It’s hard to put into words the experience of this place, it exceeds service, standard and atmosphere expectations in every way. To begin with, this place is the tastiest and highest quality matcha 🍵 I have ever had whilst maintaining its authenticity to the ceremonial ritual for how the matcha is made. As a customer who has been going here at least twice daily for almost four months, no matter how busy this shop becomes, from its much deserved hype , the quality and effort for the process of making the matcha will never been rushed just to get the drink produced faster. They never shortcut on the quality and integrity of the process of making your matcha ceremonially and organically. On top of this their menu/ the drinks and combinations of options they offer for your matcha here truly is a whole experience in itself. There is nothing but creative excitement in this place and they have sought to think of absolutely every combination you could ever imagine, all of which taste exceptional. There has genuinely not been one drink I have tried and disliked and trust me I’ve tried almost all. The team are so helpful in personalising your drink to you and your taste based on what you like and giving combination recommendations to compliment your choice with their expertise of knowing what flavours and milks and ingredient combinations work best. As for the shop, it is truly like a home away from home to me. It is always spotless, they have incense burning which is always so calming especially when coming to get a matcha on my break from work I go back to my shift feeling so much calmer and ready to face whatever work brings me for the rest of the day. The interior is beautiful, all design with the inspiration of matcha in mind, with accents of green as well as touches of art work and meaningful interior choices inspired by the Japanese culture which adds such character and additional experience to the place whilst you sit and drink your matcha. The ambience and aurora of the shop truly transcends the reality of the world outside. Helping you to just enjoy your drink and some mindful time alone or with friends whilst drinking the truly tastiest and purest matcha you will ever find in London. And then lastly, but most certainly not least, the team. If everything was already not enough to make you want to come by and try / return the team are the true reason for my visits. They make you feel so welcome and part of something. They are warm, friendly, have such amazing energy and make you feel part of something beyond just a paying customer. They will remember your name and drink after just two visits and constantly go above and beyond to make you feel special and welcome and put every effort into your drink and visit leaving you so much happier, positive and calmer than you came in. On top of that, as baristas, they’re quality of service and skill is truly the best. There will never be a discrepancy in the quality of a drink made from one person on the team to the other as the standard trained and maintained across the whole team is of the highest class. And on top of their already very thorough exceptional menu each staff member has their own signature drink that you can find on a secret menu near the pastries and if you ask for it. From Callum’s signature special white chocolate and strawberry iced matcha to Sara’s sweet and sour fruity spritz it is unlike matcha you will ever find anywhere else. Thank you Callum, Sara, Angie, Miharu, Nora and Rash for always taking care of me and making me feel welcome as well as blessing me with the most amazing matcha and vibes every single time. 🙏🤍 if you like matcha and haven’t visited this place yet, what...

How not to do Matcha Cafe. Do not waste your hard earned cash on this non-authentic cafe. I ordered a Matcha Boba for £6.45 and I feel I have been robbed. The matcha flavour was so mild it tasted like soy milk with green food colouring. I even had to ask the server to add more brown sugar to give it some sort of taste but even that was terrible as it was so thick is just sank to the bottom of the cup. The tapioca pearls were not sweet and were so soft they were inedible.

Unlike authentic bubble tea shops you can choose the sweetness and how much ice, not here.

Also the website page says 'seriously photogenic setting' so maybe if you just want to go and snap a few photos for your instagram page go ahead but honestly, it's not that great.

You are going to have to serve half decent drinks if you want to survive in central London.

There are plenty of places to grab a bubble tea in London, don't go here!

Response to How Matcha Cafe: I’m afraid this is not a calculated attack, just a coincidence that other fellow customers also had the same view. To find the “seriously photogenic setting”, go to your website, click on ‘About Us’ and it is the...
