After 2 bad experiences with the service I shan't be returning to Bellucci. I think you need to be a native Italian speaker.

The first bad experience it was early evening and I came for pizza on my own. Two other Italian diners had done the same. I ordered pizza and a glass of wine, they were delivered on arrival I asked for another glass of wine (it didn't arrive). It was a hot day, I wasn't offered water although it was in a longer glass container sitting on the bar. Some speedway was on, the serving staff concentrated on the Italian diners and left me. I finally got some attention and asked for the bill. Thirsty and after waiting another 15 minutes I got up and paid on my way out. I got home and had a lovely glass of water.

The second and last time I placed an order for what I thought was delivery (to avoid the poor service) except somehow it was collection only. I called the restaurant to try to delay my order until I could arrive. They said they only deliver on Saturdays and hung up. I got there a few minutes after my collection time, pizza already in a box steaming and going cold.

They don't give a...

Bottom line: great food, meh service. Went for dinner because we were in the mood for a good pizza. There were only a couple of tables occupied, so we were seated right away. After a few minutes we ordered. Our appetizer was a rocket salad with bread. The salad came but no bread. Kept trying to catch the waitress attention, but she was hiding in a corner on her phone or something. Finally had to go over and ask about the bread, then had to explain the description of the item included bread. Eventually that came. The salad and bread were really good! Our pizza arrived, a parm ham pizza, basically a margarita pizza plus rocket and parm ham. Fantastic pizza! Great fresh tomato taste, thin fire baked sourdough crust. Very good! All through the meal, never a sight of the waitress. My companion joked that it’s because there’s no tipping in the UK, but that hasn’t prevented great service elsewhere. Finally, we got up to leave and then she chased us down to pay. After leaving I checked the bill, and noticed a 10% service fee was added! What cheek! Will we go back, probably not. Food was great, but not so much...

This place is heaven for Italians living in London / Italian food lovers. We have been here today for dinner and we couldn’t stop ordering because the menu it’s so rich and the food is extremely good. We are coming back for sure to have dinner in this pretty little restaurant as the quality is outstanding and the price is reasonable. If you are Italian missing your hometown, come to this restaurant and you will feel like eating a meal in your grandma’s house. I can’t wait to come back to eat here and I strongly recommend this restaurant. The service is so friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is the typical Italian summer. Wish I could give more than 5 stars!

EDIT: it’s been a while that every time we order food / pizza, the portions are ridiculously small. Pizza is now like eating a tortilla for how thin it is. It’s a real shame to see one of the best pizza places in the area reducing their portions size but not the price. Not...

Quaint little Italian restaurant, down the road from Canada Water station. To be fair, the food was a bit hit and miss, some dishes were very good, others were a little bland and disappointing. The overall concensus was that the calzones were not great, lacked generous internal portions, so we're generally a flat folded pizza base with some cheese in them. Pizzas were tasty, but didn't come out that hot, so we're cold after a few minutes, something to improve on. On the flip side, some of the pasta dishes were really tasty, the carbonara and the salmon pasta were definitely hits amongst our crew. Onto the deserts, the tiramisu was fantastic, and the pistachio tartufo was superb. Finally, it would be good to try focus on trying to ensure service is as attentive and consistent as possible, it was a bit lacking, maybe the fact that we were a group of 16 people threw them out a bit.

I’ve tried this place specially for the great reviews that it has.. and unfortunately it was quite a disappointment. The starter was good with a very tasty burrata.. but the pizza was a big let down. The dough was decent but the ingredients on top so little and basic. I went for the mortadella and pistacchio that was quite bland. Also, by pistacchio they meant a very little pistacchio sprinkled on top that you could not even taste. Also the other pizza I tasted was not impressive. Service was good though. There are a million of places in London where to eat a pizza and unfortunately this one doesn’t get on my personal list of places to come back again.
