Black Sheep Coffee — Restaurant in London

This is the nearest coffee shop from my apartment so I attend here often, near enough everyday. This morning I came in & ordered a smoothie, noticed there was only one young girl serving, which is no problem because it wasn’t that busy until I noticed 2 customers who had ordered after me got their coffee before I could even hear my smoothie being made. Once again, no problem, there’s more serious things going on in the world so I didn’t think much of it UNTIL she quickly & dismissively gives me a smoothie I didn’t order, no acknowledgment or basic decent customer service such as “hi” or “enjoy your order” or “thank you” nothing. Before she rushed off I said that’s not what I ordered, got no response from her she just dashed off to make the right one, brought it back with no apology or even a “thank you for waiting.” Unacceptable, just because the smoothies were half price at the time shouldn’t mean customer service turns poor, especially after she’s seen me waiting over 10 mins or so.

I must say, usually the customer service here is great & efficient, the staff are usually lovely, so I was surprised to see that one staff in particular be very dismissive, rude with extremely POOR customer service. Not a good look, sort it out.

Shoutout to the staff, especially Kelly, who’s the MVP of good vibes. Even during peak madness, she’s all smiles, super professional, and just radiates warmth. The whole experience is so seamless, it feels like it’s been choreographed for maximum comfort.

Ordered a latte and almond croissant on the internal screen only to be told when coffee was called that the croissant would be "at least 15 mins". I looked in the glass cabinet and asked if I could change for a pain au chocolat. The barister looked unsure and referred to her colleague who said they'd have to refund and then I'd have to order again. But it was totally clear to me that neither wanted to do this - they wanted me to wait. So I sat down and drunk my coffee and left after 20 mins... with no almond croissant.
