I dont often post - but I cant help express that this was one of my worst cafe customer service experiences, ever.

I came in at 9am and ordered 2 poached eggs on toast with an americano. The barista mumbled a little then told me to sit down. I asked for wifi... he weirdly made me take a photo of a photo of the password on his phone. It didnt work anyway.

The place was not busy. I got my own water, knife, fork etc. The barista was on the phone, and another man was just standing behind the counter. The barista took another order. After 15minutes my coffee arrived. It was disgusting. At this point, I realized no Chef was in the kitchen. After another 5 minutes passed, a man came in, walked in the kitchen, asked the barista something then, with bare hands, grabbed some bread and threw it on the toaster. The barista (!!!??) Then went into the kitchen, and without changing gloves, started collecting pots and pans, and cracking eggs. At this point, over 20mins had passed. I didnt want to eat unhygenic food. I went up to the man that had just been standing there and asked to cancel my order. He rolled his eyes and went and got the barista (!?!?!). The barista said NOTHING and still charged me for the awful coffee I had 1 sip of. If they had explained or apologised for whatever the issues were, I wouldnt be leaving this review. But this was just plain rude,...

Came here twice consecutively for breakfast during our stay in London and the food was good that's why we came back. However, on our third and last morning in London, the door to the cafe was closed around 6.30am so the guy before us knocked and was let in (we thought maybe it's because he's a regular customer) but we were told they only open at 8am despite the time stated on Google. We know sometimes the dates and times aren't updated so we left and grabbed something else. Drove past later around 7.10am and they were open with customers inside. Great food but to be turned away and lied to, that was very disappointing.

Edit: 1 star (wanted to give 1 star to begin with anyway but my husband said it's too harsh. The food was the only saving grace.) because your staff lied not once, but twice (to both us and you). He obviously said 8 and both of us heard it crystal clear. If it had been 7, we would definitely have waited because we already knew what we wanted to order and were eagerly anticipating to dig in. We did not misunderstand so do NOT put the blame on us for your staff's lack of honesty and integrity, which I would think are very important traits, especially in a...

I was in town because I was driving back from tower suites hotel where I had to reclaim my fiancé bag she left. It was a wonderful hotel, widely recommend it. I was looking for a nice brunch spot to eat at. Since I had a car rental it was not the easiest for parking, especially right outside of congestion zone. The place was nice seemed like a Starbucks where you can work remotely. I ordered a platter(eggs, French toast, grilled halloumi, mushroom, tomatoes). But for me, maybe cause I’m American, I just really love French toast idk. The food came out rather slow but it was great except the French toast it was burnt. I let them know bout this, the waitress said no problem when I said just make another French toast. I waited for a long, long, long time just to be told we can’t do this it comes all together which makes no sense. All I wanted was some French toast and even she agreed it looked burnt so why even waste my time. I complained a little at the front and they took off like 15%, I don’t know I still annoyed like why couldn’t you just make another...

We took an avocado toast and pancakes with Nutella and fruits + a smoothie and an orange juice. The food was very savoury and the drinks refreshing.
