Came in here sometime last week and have been thinking about the service since. Itās a shame since I love the pastries, drinks and service at every other blank street Iāve visited, but this branch, Iād give zero stars to the workers if that were possible. Never in my life have I seen such a young immature group of people practically running a cafe, with no managerial presence. I was ignored for quite a while whilst baristas giggled amongst themselves, and then served with the most awful attitude almost as if I was an inconvenience to them. The girl with the white braids that served me looked at me so horribly and was being extremely stand-off ish, all over an iced coffee. I was made to feel like an outcasted child at school with the baristas acting very much like mean girls. Definitely wonāt be coming to this branch again specifically because of the service, no one should be made to feel that way from ordering a coffee. Regardless of what the intentions were, it was unprofessional and not what other blank streets are known to be...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI recently had the pleasure of visiting Blank Street in Battersea, and I canāt express enough how wonderful my experience was, largely thanks to two incredible girls, Reham and Aliyah. From the moment I walked in, they greeted me with warm smiles and genuine friendliness that instantly made me feel at home.
Reham and Aliyah went above and beyond to ensure I had everything I needed. Their kindness and attentiveness made my visit truly special. Itās rare to find such a welcoming atmosphere, and these two really embody what excellent customer service is all about. They took the time to chat, share recommendations, and made me feel like a valued guest rather than just a customer.
I left feeling uplifted and grateful for the lovely interactions I had with them. I will definitely be returning, not just for the delightful offerings at Blank Street, but to see Reham and Aliyah again. They have made a lasting impression on me, and I canāt wait to come back!
Thank you, Reham and Aliyah, for your warmth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had a really disappointing experience at Blank Street recently. When I walked in, there were three baristas behind the bar who were all chatting, laughing, and discussing different topics with each other. Meanwhile, there was a queue of about ten people just standing and waiting for their drinks. Despite the long line, none of the staff seemed to be focused on actually making the orders.
As someone who works as a barista myself, I completely understand the importance of having a friendly and supportive environment among colleagues ā chatting is totally fine when thereās time for it. But when thereās a long queue of customers waiting, itās really unprofessional to prioritise conversation over service. It felt like the customers were being ignored, and thatās just not acceptable in a busy setting.
I hope management takes this seriously because it affects the overall experience and reputation...
