Bollywoods — Restaurant in London

Yesterday throughout the evening, got served but they gave the impression that they couldn't be bothered. It was very frustrating as we have dined there previously and staff couldn't do enough for us which just shows whoever serves you has an impact of service and your experience. As we were finishing our meal, my Fiancé had some food left over and the waiter gave her a bag and containers to pack this herself (no problem with this, but previously they have taken the plate and done this for her in the past). Also, the table opposite us again had left over food and they packed this for her and gave her the bag with leftovers. Why should their be a difference in service and give different standards? They never checked in on us to see how our food was or to see if we wanted any drinks. All the while the table next to us were complaining of the food standard, a dish wasn't cooked properly. The waiter who was serving us wasn't giving them the service they wanted either and they spoke to a manager and sent the dish back. No apology given, which again wasn't the best of service. It was a slow night and we got the impression they might of been tired, we sympathise but their is no excuse to give such poor service when we have been regulars and have dined there in the past. We've been eating there for years, but last night the 16/4/2023. Will definitely be the last time we go there, the food was great as always. But the service we received was appalling, after our main course they cleared the table. We sat there for about 30 minutes when a waitress brought us a bill, taking into account that we hadn't asked for it. We looked at the bill and saw that it wasn't ours. We give it back, it was the next table. We were still waiting to be asked if we were finished or would we like desert and coffee. This didn't happen so after another 10 minutes we were asked if we'd like our bill, we'd given up on the desert and coffee by now so we said yes.. normally you'd be offered hot towels this didn't happen. And when we finally received the bill they'd actually tried to over charge us for the meal. Totally unreal and bad experience, really disappointed WON'T...

Disappointment!!! 2nd time visiting last time was before covid everything was great but now whole new scene and diff vibe. went with whole family and the Food weren’t great. me being Asian same as them, I Know when the food is fresh or old. Well The rice/biryani was old weren’t cooked fresh they made it with old rice and the Dhaal was at least a days old or made couple of hours before. The service was rubbish. Waiters didn’t take care of us. They didn’t seem bothered. Starters/food come together after like an hour. Told the bartender to give water/soft drinks he said okay. But didn’t get nothings for ages. After a while when the food come that’s when they gave water/drinks. Come on dude like seriously? Reason for two stars the bill weren’t that much, as we ordered quite a lot.
