The owner of this place is a complete liar.!! You don't accept 16 people if you can't handle treating them the same as every other customer . The owner was so rude and aggressive towards my family that we could of actually called the police! Not the other way round !He was highly intoxicated ,his wife was constantly apologising for his behaviour and looked so embarrassed she gave amazinf service to add. The chops were not pink at all as I would never of handed them back they were burnt and cold where obviously been sat on the side. Lydia's was always amazing when a guy called maz use to work there as I use to eat regularly there and still in shock at how myself and family have been treated. My brother in law checked as he was the one paid the bill on one card as the owner wouldn't accept split payment when his wife said it was OK at the beginning to do so. We were told we should of eaten in McDonald's if we wanted to do that. We asked for bread at the beginning as that use to be the process of whenever we have ordered and were waiting for food. I have spoke to a few people and they have had the same problem with the owner and said how much he has changed the mast few months .such a shame .maybe he has personal stuff going on and we caught him on a bad day but you don't take it out on your customers. And to add there were 4 children and 12 adults .so work out the maths that isn't half children like he had stated.not that it should of made a difference as we were placed in room upstairs away from everyone. We will not be returning and know alpt of people in Sudbury which we will defo not be recommending...

I was not informed until I had ordered, eaten and received my bill that it was a mistake made by Lydia for their appearance on site, which I should have been told, upon either booking or arriving.
I was put forward to the manager who then blamed me, despite knowing they had accidently appeared on the list, still went on to aggressively blame me for expecting the discount.
After informing him he had lost a very loyal regular customer, he shouted over the restaurant he didn't want me, or anyone on my table back again!
I've never been spoken to in such a manor, especially in front of my 3 year old child and family! Disgusting service, Disgusting attitude, and an always empty restaurant that speaks for itself!!
Apologies to the 2 female waiter staff who were absolutely lovely and didn't deserve to witness their manager treat a customer like that and be put in such an awkward position.
Never will I or anybody I know dine again. Absolutely...
Read morePhoned them up for a delivery of two full platters and two cold Mezze for delivery to Epping Forest for a wedding. I only gave them 24 hours notice and they were very responsive and helpful on the phone. They agreed to deliver and stated that they would take payment upon delivery (via card) which was not only helpful but displayed an incredible amount of faith on their part.
Food arrived bang on time and the guys waited patiently for me to come and meet them as I was taking pictures etc. We were catering for approximately 15 adults and 8 children and the amount of food that arrived was more than enough (we had also ordered some Pizzas from elsewhere). Actually appeared to be more than I thought I had ordered (it was a feast!).
Food was delicious - went down well with everyone and whatever was left was quickly snapped up the guests upon leaving. I would definitely recommend this place again and this is the first time I have ever given a 5 star review.
